I find it hilarious that a college town has two decent Thai restaurants, but not a single quality Chinese restaurant. To be fair, I was warned when I interviewed with UW. That said, I still had to try. From Texas to Georgia, I'm used to having a variety of choices and order at least once a month or hit up... More

I was very spoiled by growing up in the San Francisco area. I moved 29 years ago and have been searching for anything remotely close to the level of taste you find there. My search is over. This is the BEST Chinese I've had since 1989. The Schezuan Beef is outstanding. Cooked to perfection! I cannot get over how much... More

Ate buffet lunch here recently. First time here. A bit better than the last Chinese place I ate at in Laramie, but that is not saying much. Many buffet items were not refilled, few options for vegetarians, and lots of fried foods. Food is very average. And the floor and seats were sticky. Needs a good, thorough cleaning. Still looking... The spring rolls were under cooked and the wrap was as hard as a crabs back!! the spicy pork and beef were of good size but of average quality!!! The serving of rice was too small for two people!!!! the service was poor though we were seated quickly!!!! (missing knives and spoons) the men's bathroom had not paper towels and... More

I thought the food here was average for a chinese restaurant. My coworkers liked it more than me though

The food is average and predictable. The atmosphere is better than most Chinese restaurants. If you like Chinese, this is the best in Laramie.

Having eaten here many times, we are always happy with the outcome. Service is fast, as are most Oriental restaurants, and the staff is very very friendly. I have never been disappointed with any meal and have eaten in San Francisco Chinese restaurants many times, so do have something to compare to. My one problem is that the meals that... More

The food at the restaurant is about average. I ordered Schezwan Chicken, not spicy, and was given what was essentially just cooked chicken in chicken sauce. It tasted decent, but was nothing like what I asked for (and have had multiple other places, giving some level of similarity between dishes and locations, so I know it's not a case of... More

We went to the Mandarin on US-30, US -287, 3rd Street on the north end of Laramie, about two blocks north of the Gas Lite Motel, and right across from the Cherries restaurant. Google maps matches this location and name, and Tripadvisor is mapping a different location and has New Mandarin instead of Mandarin. However, Tripadvisor is listing the same... More
