Don't order Margarita as they put in orange juice: quite weird! Otherwise friendly and courteous service with well prepared food.

Couloir is definitely a restaurant that is banking more on its (undeniably) awesome view than its actual food. Service was great and the atmosphere is very upscale (as are the prices), but the food was just overdone and overseasoned. For example, the foie gras crepe thing was probably the worst preparation of foie I've had: The berry reduction was wayyy... More

My wife and I just ate at Couloir two days ago. We had the four course menu with wine pairings. The food was good but not very inventive and the portions were quite moderate. I would compare the quality and ambition of the cuisine to something you would find at a good neighborhood bistro. Unfortunately, the price was what you... More

Prix fix dinner at $95 a person was way too expensive and did not deliver on taste. I had halibut wrapped in wrapped in bacon like meat it was too salty and the polenta like stuff it was served upon gelled and developed a crust. Friend had the waygu beef. It was nothing special not as good as a supermarket... More

We were with a family/ business group at Couloir and our meal was buffet style. The meal was quite delicious given the buffet format. The views were great and the children loved climbing and running up the mountain after dinner....very fun for them.

Went there with a group of 30. They had us in a private room and our only complaint was they had set the tables for 10 and the seating was extremely tight. We finally removed some chairs and it was comfortable. We had a fixed menu but the food was excellent. The service was excellent too, especially girl who looks like... More

Enjoy the trip up to the restaurant in the tram and try to get there before sunset for the best views. We had the four course dinner with wine pairing which was good but a little pricey for the quality of the wine. The pork and walu entrees were very nice and the burrata and asparagus appetizer was delicious. Lots... More

The (free) gondola ride up provides amazing views, great place for a drink and a meal. Prices are a little steep, but then again, so is the ride up. LOL

The Gondola ride up was a huge plus. The view was amazing. The cost of the dinner was much more than i had anticipated. Personally (from one who is budget conscious), that really needs to be factored in. If cost is a concern for you as it is for me, I would suggest enjoying the view over cocktails only.

This restaurant is located at the summit of the Bridger Gondola at 9,095’, Couloir is Jackson Hole’s most unique dining experience. The Executive Chef Wes Hamilton adheres to a sustainable policy, promising that the majority of his ingredients come from a 250 mile radius to ensure fresh and natural flavors and to source superior products from local purveyors.
