Excellent American Food in downtown Jackson Hole

This restaurant is accurately called "an American bistro," as the atmosphere is upscale casual and the food choices eclectic-- from unusual and delicious pizzas to wonderful roast chicken. Everything we have tried has been well done. The noise level can be a bit hight at peak times and be sure to... read more

I had my best mean in Jackson Hole at Trio! Excellent food and fun atmosphere. I ordered the bison filet and it was outstanding. Great drinks and excellent service. I highly recommend Trio!

Consistently good overall. A misfire with one item. The Wood Oven Roasted Prawn was a poor use of a potentially quality item. Very large split shrimp but cooked to the point where it was chewy and tough. Difficult to get it out of the shell. This was also encountered by the couple sitting next to me at the bar. They... My moms absolute favorite when she comes to visit me. Nice ambiance and great food! A little nicer than most restaurants, as restaurants in Jackson tend to be very casual.

Good thing we had a reservation at Trio because it was really crowded on a Friday night. Yes, the tables are close together and the place is loud. Yes, some tables were large and had kids, but you couldn't hear them over the rest of the guests. Amidst the chaos, our waiter was very pleasant, knowledgeable and fast, which we... More

We lucked into a table for our family of four. Two boys ages 12 and 13. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was excellent! It is a little expensive but worth it.

Yes the food was very good. Maybe some of the best in town. BUT there are lots of good places to eat in this crazy place. I know the life's story of the people seated on BOTH sides of me. It's so loud everyone has to try and talk over the dim. Hard to not overhear the people next to... More

This was my wife's pick solely based on availability. Ended up being an amazing meal without kids, although the it seemed kid friendly. Had the roasted prawn and it was great. Buffalo tenderloin will melt in your mouth. The grilled halibut was amazing and the pizza was a winner too. Dessert was the real winner, flourless chocolate cake and the... More

We had high hopes after reading strong reviews and receiving local recommendations for trio. We just left in agreement that the food disappointed - perhaps it was an off night, not the regular chef, etc. We did enjoy the music and the vibe was good but the food itself did not rise to expectations.

Had a late dinner ( make a reservation if you want prime time seating ) after walking around Jackson Hole. The service was excellent - the menu was varied and unique. I had the best Caesar salad - not just of the best - the best one I have ever tasted. I think you can judge a restaurant by its... More
