Stepping in to the log cabin atmosphere set the tone. The smell of freshly prepared food hits the senses and drives ones hunger. From there the rest is easy. Trust the menu. Have a little fun ordering anything from fresh salads and soups to Po Boys or burgers. Enjoy the atmosphere and service. You will be back like I have.

Taking the day off skiing because of bad weather we decided to revisit this restaurant, for lunch this time, after a good experience at dinner a few nights earlier. We were not disappointed with our orders of Stuffed Avocado and a Shrimp PoBoy. Both were well assembled and great for lunch. At the previous dinner we had noticed a German... More

We drove by and saw this adorable cabin while searching in town for a place to have dinner. It was a great find. We arrived a bit late for dinner, so it was not crowded. Jackson, overall, was less crowded then when we came in Jan. The host and server were very pleasant and went the extra mile to insure... More

At 85 King St. you will find The True Heart of Jackson,WY! This may be the Oldest Cabin in town with an interior to match. The Old West at its Best. And the food will have you coming back for more as me and my party did two nights in a row. O, this is also a local favorite where... More

Last night I went to Sweetwater Restaurant with my wife for a special event. They partnered with Teton Brewing Company to offer sold-out 2nd annual Cajun & Beer dinner. After enjoying alligator and catfish appetizers, the first course was introduced by Celebrity Chef Trey Davis, then the paired beer was introduced by Max of the brewery. This continued for several... This was our first meal in Jackson and it was terrific. We were all very hungry when we arrived at the restaurant. Hummus plate, tuna and gyro were outstanding. The gyro was my favorite. The other couple we were with also loved their food. We sat outside. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere as we ate the first of many great... More

The food at Sweetwater leaves much to be desired. The steak had too much butter on it, overwhelming the natural flavor of the food - which is actually rather hard to accomplish. Many of the more exotic game foods also aren't all that good tasting. On the positive side, service was OK and the cost was more reasonable than many... More

This is one of working Jackson's favorite lunch spots. If you wait until noon, there might not be any tables left except small ones in the sun. The sandwiches are excellent, as are the various lunch specials. Have a mason jar mug of iced tea and enjoy the people watching.

This is the 2nd time we have eaten here and both have been very enjoyable. Menu has wild game fare as well as steaks and seafood. Food is very good, service attentive and the menu includes specials not normally found in other restaurants. Slow roasted buffalo shank was delicious!

My dining experience at Sweetwater was worthy of review. Cabin like exterior, interior features much wood. Dining room is comfortable, settings are semi-formal. The menu is creative, features local produce, represents enough beef, poultry, soup and salad to satisfy almost everyone, even the veg head. For lunch I decided on the Tuna Melt on apricot wheat/rasin bread. I know it's... More
