nice lunch

Wen there for lunch last week and it was great. The four of us had salads and sandwiches and they were fine. The desserts were out of this world. Lemon raspberry cake, yum, carmel bread pudding, sweet, pecan pie, nutty. Do it! No regrets. Also one of the nicest, happiest, funnest waiter ever!

Arrived about 6.45pm with only two couples there. There was only 1 employee present, Amy, who was having to do everthing but cook! We were seated and looked through the menu but not told about any specials but Amy didn't really have time to do anything properly as the restaurant was starting to fill. Although two couples did enter, not... More

Several times a year, the restaurant offers 2 for 1 entrees. We always try to go then. Have had good experiences in the summer with lunch menu. Friends have enjoyed their Apple Soup so much they insisted on trying to duplicate the next night, I love the lemon raspberry cake, the soup or salad option and the homemade bread with... More

We ate here with our family and friends. The service wasn't great, had to teach down the waiter if you wanted refills, my baseball sirloin was good but nobody else in our party of 9 enjoyed their meal. Even the kids complained. The place is small and comfortable and not far from the square as a good note. There are... More

Family of four had dinner here as recommended by our snowmobile guides. My husband ordered the elk osso bucco. He said it was very good but the portion was a bit on the small side. My kids both had elk burgers and loved them. I ordered the mustard glazed pork loin. The portion size was just right and it was... More

I visited Sweetwater for dinner with family (6 people total, 2 of them locals) on a Saturday evening in December. The restaurant is in a log cabin that dates back to 1915, and it was very cozy given the bitter cold outside. We were seated in the front area next to a window facing the street, and in the same... Table mat stained my sweater. Table mats are dirty. Table was not clean. Real disappointment. Bread that came with soup was crusty and not freshly cut. Sat overlooking outside patio which was a mess.

Quaint place in a old house. The food was okay but not great. The service was good but it was a very slow night and only 2 other couples were there.

So many associate Jackson Hole with money which is unfortunate because for many of us it's just home. In the same vein, most of our visitors are families, many more than the comparatively wealthy ski crowd, most of whom just want a good place to eat, not an extravagant experience. The majority of dinner offerings in the valley are top... More

Sampled the buffalo chile and the elk burger, both were fantastic although a lot of food, neither of us could finish our courses. Service was great and really loved the rustic interior, would definitely come back if we were ever in Jackson again.
