I had to try the Elk Osso Buco, oh my, heavenly, just melted in your mouth! We were able to get seating outside and the owner/executive chef Trey was highly visible and very friendly. Had a nice chat with him and where he was from and I asked what his recommendation was. They make there own salad dressings and it... More

Potato-crusted fillet of trout doesn't exactly fall under the category of cowboy comfort food this place advertises. But, my wife found it delicious. I really wanted to try the elk burger, and it wasn't the $20 tab that discouraged me, but two eight-ounce patties? Tried the barbecued buffalo sliders instead...very satisfying. The bacon and pork tenderloin soup was a terrific... More

Almost didn't order this, but then decided to give it a try. Osso Buco can be really bad in a restaurant. This one just melted in my mouth. The flavor, unbelievable, and it was served, believe it or not, on grits! Fabulous combination. Sounds impossible, tastes heavenly. Absolutely must try. If you like "wild" meats, this is the place, and... More

I went here for Dinner with some friends on a recommendation from a friend, I ordered the Monster Elk Burger which was great but the chips were extremely cold, Our waiter seemed to not want be there kind of attitude. We were seated outside which lacked in Atmosphere. Overall our meals were good, But I would not recommend this place... More

Tourist trap? Off the beaten path, but super expensive for a bad Rib Eye steak and hamburger. Picnic table eating outside feels cheap, not quirky, and we felt we were in someone's backyard, along with old/discarded restaurant equipment. Staff seemed disorganized.

Great service but food was just average. Not a bad choice but for the price, you could probably do better.

Decent food. Server was asked for her recommendation and she was unfamiliar with menu. Asked for more bread after initial mere four small slices for two very hungry guys. She brought out a plate of heels. Several were definitely a couple days old. Not sure I would recommend or go back.

Great atmosphere & service. We had steaks which were very good. I gave them a 4 rating because they are pricey and the steaks could have been more tender.

We were trying to find a good place to eat in downtown Jackson. The menu is limited and on the pricey side. The food was good but could be found in any steak house.

I had New York strip special with mashed potatoes, asparagus and chicken rice soup. The food was excellent. The server was excellent.
