We had a wonderful day of biking and canoeing in the park and the friends we were with suggested the Sweetwater Restaurant. We got reservations for 8pm and wanted to change them to earlier and they were very accommodating. We arrived, were seated and the server took our drink order. It was a simple task but it was wrong. Two... More

Our experience on Monday September 8th. We were the second table in the place, about 5:30 pm. The server (male) was nice and friendly. He recommended a wine, which was quite good. I ordered the Elk Ossobucco in "Whiskey Jus" and had a cup of Lentil and Sausage Soup. My husband ordered the special which was a 10 oz New... More

Wonderful food, great presentation, super friendly staff. Tuna salad to die for. Reasonable prices. Might come back for dinner.

We had a table for six, we got there right at 11:45AM and good thing we did because the place was packed by 12, with a line already forming. Our food was great, I had the avocado crab melt. The soup of the day was a vegetable beef and was good as well. Our service wasn't the quickest, like when... More

We came here for a late lunch one summer afternoon. We had soup and sandwich. My husband ordered the chicken posole soup and enjoyed it. I had the apricot bisque. It was refreshing but a little too sweet. He ordered the green tomato BLT and enjoyed; I had the turkey sandwich and it was also good. Service was a little... More

Followed the recommendation from the hotel manager after our fantastic yellowstone trip. It was awesome to sit with my friends together in the courtyard. The diner is quite lovely, just like a cozy home for the cute dwarfs. The steak was really good. I could tell all my folk enjoyed their meals. One thing that bothered me, is how they... More

Ordered a feta dressing salad, so much vinegar it was burning. Also had blackened chicken with angel hair. Chicken a good, pasta was the worst. I love pasta and ate one forkful. But what was most surprising was when the waitress picked up my finished plate, she never asked WHY all the pasta was still there!

I've traveled to Jackson many times and almost every time I've eaten a meal at Sweetwater. This time, however, the menu had changed since my last trip and was disappointing in its lack of local foods. Instead of elk medallions or elk sausage there were BBQ ribs. Really? With reservations, we were seated at 20:00. They were already out of... More

Our family ate here on Saturday night and what a great choice it was! My husbands rib eye was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed my trout. The kids meals were fantastic and came with slices of fresh, ripe fruit. Our server, Kendall was excellent. She was familiar with the menu, great with the kids and always kept our glasses full....
