Noting the volume of cars parked outside this restaurant for breakfast,we decided to give it a try. There were about 20 people waiting to be seated. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. It was well worth the wait. We had the most delicious breakfast! Portions were generous, food was steaming hot and so good! Our server was sweet, smiling, attentive Victoria.... More

This was a real disappointment. Not in the heart of Jackson, and no drinks - not even beer. Service was incredibly slow, even though there weren't many folks in the place. The food was barely seasoned, and it wasn't hot - could almost say that it had no temperature. There were also a few flies buzzing around, which definitely detracted... More

Food was excellent and plentiful at fair prices. I expected to have to overpay because of the tourist location but was pleasantly surprised. Service was a little slow but that was probably due to how busy they were. Would go out of my way to eat there again.

So many great things to say about this establishment. The breakfast is great and reminds me of home. I had the pancakes and eggs. I admit I am picky when it comes to my food. They didn't disappoint. Eggs were just right and the pancakes are as big as your plate. You won't find a better breakfast in Jackson. NOW... More

Hostess was incredibly rude. Wanted to set our family of 5 at a small square table. When we asked if we could sit at an open round table she told us she didn't want to over work her waiters. The place was not full or busy for that matter. Then she told us that she sat parties of 5 at... More

We tried to have breakfast there this morning, but the staff was so indifferent and dismissive that we left and returned to Bubba's for the second day in a row. Four staff walked by us without even acknowledging our existence. Then, when a hostess finally seated us, she did so with a wave of the menu and barely a glance... More

This place is hopping, but we were kindly greeted and served in a timely manner. Everyone in our party was very pleased with their food and service. The french toast was especially impressive. They make the bread from scratch, then make it into french toast, and it is definitely the best french toast I've ever had. The pancakes were also... More

We had breakfast here. It was crowded when we arrived and we did wait about 15 minutes. However, the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. We had a very good server as well. The atmosphere is pleasant. We also liked the 'Old Western' décor. We would definitely eat here again.

My family ate breakfast at the Virginian based on several recommendations. We were seated in a timely manner even though it was "rush hour." Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was basic breakfast fare: pancakes, scrambles, French toast. Our kids ate everything, as did we - and we skipped lunch afterward! Good value considering Jackson is a tourist-y area.... More

Excellent breakfast, hot and very large portions! I ordered corn beef hash with eggs and biscuit. Plate was overwhelmed with food. Biscuits were hot, homemade and flaky. Coffee, never-ending by the server. Food, Excellent, Service, Excellent. Prices reasonable for Jackson area. I think each entree was $12.99. A bit crowded in the morning as the place is stuffed with locals... More
