I love good food and gourmet is even better. This restaurant was among the very best experiences I have ever had and compares to the best Austrian food in Europe. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. The atmosphere is delightful and the staff pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. My first choice for a celebratory meal or for those guests who... More

Had dinner at Stiegler's last night and the food was better than in some of the best restaurants in Vienna! We have never been disappointed at Stiegler's and during a trip to Austria in the fall we were disappointed several times when we ordered traditional Austrian food. The food is consistantly delicious and many of the recipes are Stiegler family... More

Went to Stiegler's for a special occasion with the family (parent & three adult kids) during the course of a two week US trip. As we are Austrians, we were interested to learn what kind of "Austrian Gemuetlichkeit" would be sold to Americans in Wyoiming: It was somewhat disappointing. Although the interior has an Austrian feel (from the 1960s) and... More

Love Stieglers for their quite cozy atmosphere, great service, delicious Austrian menu, very friendly staff. A very romantic special occasion spot. We tried this restaurant a year ago for the first time while visiting Wyoming and made sure we came back there this time as well. Would recommend hands down!

We were greeted by a welcoming host and seated in a lovely corner table with flowers and a candle. Waiter was helpful and friendly. Menu featured many traditional Austrian dishes with creative twists. Delicious. I had the caprese special salad which melted in your mouth with the sweetest yellow beets. Escargot in tiny puff pastry were yummy -- according to... More

We went and ate for my birthday dinner and ordered a bottle of wine and the wait staff and everyone was super friendly. Owner came out and spoke to everyone but us, so guess we were not on his preferred list, but I could care less.

Very small restaurant tucked away in a shopping center. The inside, is kind of cozy, but old looking. We were seated right away but service was slow, for such a small place I'd expect faster. 10 minutes for drinks, even longer for some of the food. Sure it's pricey b/c it's a touristy area but the value wasn't really there.... More

Stiegler's is an elegant locale and fun place to visit. Peter Stiegler is an excellent chef. Anything we have had is well prepared. If you get the soup it is made from scratch, including the soup stock. We had celery root. Excellent. This time we only had snacks and drinks at the bar. The place is pretty pricey, but you... More

My husband and I had a delightful time dining at Stiegler's. Service, ambiance, and food were all seamless and wonderful without being stiff and snobbish. The ambiance seems more "formal" compared to others in this ski town in winter time, but it's actually warm and cozy. We learned the background of the place and its owner, who walked around and... The setting is typical Austrian. Some of the dishes, too. The Wiener Schnitzel is like in Austria, the Apfelstrudel, too. We have been often to Austria, and this is as good as it gets in the US. Some of the entrees are done for the American tastebuds, but all in all, the real deal. The Apfelstrudel was the best we... More
