Good for: Bar scene, Large groups, Local cuisine
Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Late Night
Description: Located South of Town Square. The Bird provides one of the most fantastic views in the greater Teton Valley, with panoramic mountain vistas offering a brilliant sunset. A favorite watering hole of local legend Colonel Angus, it is a neighborhood pub atmosphere with rustic wood interior. Great for all but beware, the late-night scene can get quite rowdy and may not be suitable for families with young children. The Bird prides itself in offering a unique "local" experience whilst offering great cuisine. Not the place to be pandered to but if you wish to let loose, eat right, and escape the standard tourist trap come on in!

We just had the best burger EVER when visiting this restaurant. I also loved their advise on how to order your burger (medium / rare but never well done).

So I found myself in Jackson for a few days and quickly scanned the reviews for a place to go for some good eats my first night in town. With so many positive reviews, we (wife and 10 y/o son) decided on The Bird. It was a few miles out of town, but not too far and we were all... More

We sought out this place looking for a casual dinner, and found a bar...very friendly, and the typical bar food and service was very good. We hadn't heard about the shuttle bus, but some friendly locals told us about it. We didn't use it, or even see it, but they said it runs year round, so you might want to... More

Our raft guide told us about this place, and we were very happy he did. Obviously a favorite with locals, we got a table right away on a Saturday night--which seemed too good to be true. The patio looked lovely & fun at sunset, but we opted to sit inside. The servers were very prompt & friendly--but the food was... More

I know burgers are their main stay. But I just had the best turkey club of my life....with a gorgeous location. Great choice.

Awesome food, great friendly service, and a large selection of craft beers. You can sit outside on the deck and enjoy a breathtaking view.

Great atmosphere, casual and relaxed. Family friendly. Burgers are great and don't use conventional buns... they use english muffins instead.

Really enjoyed the wings, burgers & fries at The Bird. This became our casual go to restaurant on our recent visit to Jackson Hole. A little off the beaten path it is well worth the trip. The Bird is a friendly local bar that serves great food. The have an extensive list of beers for those so inclined. The menu... More

Great food, fun atmosphere. Will definitely return. The menu is great fun to read. Burgers, German food, beer etc. If you visit Jackson, you should make this one of your stops.

I really enjoy the food here and would give it a higher rating except for the extreme noise level. However, it is a sports bar so that's to be expected. Try the deck!
