Located South of Town Square. The Bird provides one of the most fantastic views in the greater Teton Valley, with panoramic mountain vistas offering a brilliant sunset. A favorite watering hole of local legend Colonel Angus, it is a neighborhood pub atmosphere with rustic wood interior. Great for all but beware, the late-night scene can get quite rowdy and may not be suitable for families with young children. The Bird prides itself in offering a unique "local" experience whilst offering great cuisine. Not the place to be pandered to but if you wish to let loose, eat right, and escape the standard tourist trap come on in!

local favorite did not disappoint!

Had a going away dinner with my local friends as they are moving away from the valley. There were 6 of us and each one had something different. The only thing that would have made our dinner better is coffee or a diet drink of anything. I am diabetic so the only choice I had for a drink was water.... More

I had a great burger tonight at The Bird. They even had a gluten free bun that was yummy. My burger had sauteed mushrooms and onions and I got a salad that was also very tasty. What a fun place. I will definitely go there again.

I was in Jackson to go skiing and staying with a friend that lives on that side of town. She highly recommended it as being good food for a reasonable price as opposed to other restaurants in town. We were promptly seated, the service was good, the food was good and we left having a nice dinner and good time.... More

I would not recommend for families with kids as it feels a little like a bar, but for adults it is one of the most fun restaurants I have ever been at. The staff is super fun and it is a local favorite from what we heard. Many interesting burgers- fried eggs, beets, and other unusual toppings; they were great!... More

The Bird is about 3 miles south of Jackson on 89, and home to some of the best burgers in the valley. Service can be spotty, but the food (especially their burgers) & beer selections are terrific! During spring, summer and early fall, try it just for the deck view of the Snake River Range a few miles to the... More

If you are looking for a foo-foo place, this is not it. We were in the mood for a off the beaten path, local hangout place with good burgers, and we found it. This place is awesome. The burgers were about the best that I ever had. I highly recommend it.

Had the NY strip steak that was delicious. The waitress was accommodating and made the substitutions that made the meal perfect. The steak was char-broiled and came with special in house dipping sauce that was wonderful. On the down side it's a little noisy and the bar has a poor selection of bourbon, which is strange since there's a liquor... More

This place positions itself as an adult restaurant and attempts to discourage families with small children through various comments which are entertaining to read (see their website). Essentially, they position the place as a place that encourages heavy drinking, to the extent that they provide free rides home. Food is O.K. for the price - nothing fancy.

Went back a second time because the first time out there was pretty good, but the second time out was disappointing. The atmosphere is good, and most of the wait staff is competent, but our burgers were nothing like the first burger I had there, and the staff was unwilling to find us a compromise. We both order our beef... More
