Good for: Bar scene, Large groups, Local cuisine
Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Late Night
Description: Located South of Town Square. The Bird provides one of the most fantastic views in the greater Teton Valley, with panoramic mountain vistas offering a brilliant sunset. A favorite watering hole of local legend Colonel Angus, it is a neighborhood pub atmosphere with rustic wood interior. Great for all but beware, the late-night scene can get quite rowdy and may not be suitable for families with young children. The Bird prides itself in offering a unique "local" experience whilst offering great cuisine. Not the place to be pandered to but if you wish to let loose, eat right, and escape the standard tourist trap come on in!

We went here for lunch after recommendations from three different people. We arrived early for lunch and they easily accommodated our group of 9. We all got burgers, which were delicious. They have a nice beer selection too. Although it was unseasonably cold and rainy when we visited, they had a HUGE deck that overlooked the valley and had incredible... More

The burgers are where it's at. I would highly recommend just getting the 4 oz size as the 9 is kind of ridiculous. Service was poor at best, finally went and found another server to pay the tab. Not cool when you have seven people at a table and service seems to be an afterthought. Wish I could take the... More

Lots of beer choices and the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had! The homemade sauerkraut was unbelievable! This sandwich is made with fresh turkey. You have to try it to believe how good it is with the sauerkraut. Seems like a local place but we were made to feel very welcome. The servers were very nice and the food awesome!

I had read other reviews on TA and decided to check it out during a summer vacation. The place has an extensive hamburger menu, they are delicious and the place has an attitude that is funny, respectful but with their own point of view. The menu is hilarioujs They have a patio with a wonderful view. A great place to... More

My husband and I tried this local place out. The wings were okay, and the burger was just so. The atmosphere was fine and service is what it is. This is a real no frills place. A better bar than most we have gone to.

A group of 10 of us went here last summer and had a great time. It's out of the way, but the view is worth the adventure finding it!

The Bird offers awesome burgers and a vast array of beers on the tap. I had lunch at the bar with a spectacular view of the Tetons! The bar staff was fun and engaging. The Bird is a bit hidden, be sure to pay close attention to the directions. It's in a rather odd location but the view makes it... More
