Located South of Town Square. The Bird provides one of the most fantastic views in the greater Teton Valley, with panoramic mountain vistas offering a brilliant sunset. A favorite watering hole of local legend Colonel Angus, it is a neighborhood pub atmosphere with rustic wood interior. Great for all but beware, the late-night scene can get quite rowdy and may not be suitable for families with young children. The Bird prides itself in offering a unique "local" experience whilst offering great cuisine. Not the place to be pandered to but if you wish to let loose, eat right, and escape the standard tourist trap come on in!

Amazing Burgers and fries

I would describe The Bird as a local place, a little hard for a visitor to find. However, it was well worth the hunt! One of the best burgers and fresh hand cut fries that I have ever had. Outstanding......a place where the younger crowd is the majority, but us older folks enjoyed it too!

I had the breakfast burger on an English muffin with a fried egg and bacon on top... Hands down, the best burger I've ever eaten! The fun crowd and wait staff didn't hurt, either!

If you don't have kids under the age of 7, you can probably disregard this review. You'll be grand. If you do have babies or toddlers, beware. This restaurant is pretty anti-kid. They're quite proud of not having a kids' menu, highchairs, or lidded cups for their youngest guests. I've been there with and without my children and was served... More

Wonderful atmosphere and delicious burgers. I love that the burgers are served on english muffins. I had the Breakfast Burger which included a fried egg and bacon. I was very pleased with the service and the food. Highly recommend trying.

We went on a recommendation from our hotel shuttle driver and were really glad we did! We wanted a place that was more locals than tourists and had more reasonably priced food. The atmosphere was great and the view from the deck is amazing! Thursday night is half price schnitzel and beer and it was really crowded because of it.... More

Had a going away dinner with my local friends as they are moving away from the valley. There were 6 of us and each one had something different. The only thing that would have made our dinner better is coffee or a diet drink of anything. I am diabetic so the only choice I had for a drink was water.... More

I had a great burger tonight at The Bird. They even had a gluten free bun that was yummy. My burger had sauteed mushrooms and onions and I got a salad that was also very tasty. What a fun place. I will definitely go there again.

I was in Jackson to go skiing and staying with a friend that lives on that side of town. She highly recommended it as being good food for a reasonable price as opposed to other restaurants in town. We were promptly seated, the service was good, the food was good and we left having a nice dinner and good time.... More

I would not recommend for families with kids as it feels a little like a bar, but for adults it is one of the most fun restaurants I have ever been at. The staff is super fun and it is a local favorite from what we heard. Many interesting burgers- fried eggs, beets, and other unusual toppings; they were great!... More

The Bird is about 3 miles south of Jackson on 89, and home to some of the best burgers in the valley. Service can be spotty, but the food (especially their burgers) & beer selections are terrific! During spring, summer and early fall, try it just for the deck view of the Snake River Range a few miles to the... More
