Reasonably broad menu. Very tasty. Inside or outside seating. Service uprisingly fast, courteous, & friendly. Very popular place & often crowded. Easier to get an inside table. Very reasonably priced.

Worst service of my life. I don't need much but a hello and a refill of my water would be nice. The Mac & cheese my daughter ordered was great. My sandwich was good. But I was so upset by the horrible service I could never bring myself to go back. I even talked with the shift managers about be... More

Great breakfast menu - eggs Benedict were perfectly prepared. Attractive, friendly, and efficient wait staff. Nice ambiance; located in what appears to be a former residence.

Ignore all guide books as not mentioned. This is the best place I have eaten for a long time . Tolerant of children . I had to wait as had not booked but worth it. Staff delightful. Food exquisite . Recommend elk steak.

Understated, unassuming, and quietly elegant. Cafe G was a last-minute find on the last night of our trip. Only regret is that it was the last night or we would have surely returned. The food was extraordinary, unusual, and lived up to its moniker "inspired home cooking." They did unbelievable things with bacon and the other parts of their menu... More

Went for a late lunch. Had a good salad and a really great burger with a nice glass of wine. Sat outside on the porch, especially nice. Hostess and waiter were very friendly. Highly recommend it for lunch.

Waiter service was very efficient. My wife had the pearl barley risotto. It was nice but nothing remarkable. I had the noodles with pork which was very good. For dessert we had the blackcurrant home-made pie (which was most definitely home-made, full of fresh fruit and was not too sweet ) and the banana and chocolate bread pudding. The meal... More

I really really wanted to love this place because it is so darn cute. The hostess was incredibly friendly and nice, so much so that I really felt the need to make a point of mentioning it in the review. She had just started and said she was nervous but she was doing great. I ordered the pearled barley risotto... More

There was something for everyone! We started with Fries and Bacon Candy which were delicious. We had pasta, Steak, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese and tomato soup. Everyone was very happy with their meal. Very large portions. Good wine list and creative cocktails.

Ate outside on the patio. The menu was different and the food was great. I had a jumbalya special and my husband had a cuban. Side of Mac & Cheese is large and delicious. All the food that came out of the kitchen to other tables look delicious!
