Stopped for lunch...my husband had biscuits and gravy and they were great. The staff was friendly, helpful and very nice...probably had recovered from all the mean tourists in the summer.

A quaint place in the middle of town on the main street serving great family friendly meals excellently prepared and served. Many items are in the "pork" family for appetizers and main courses. Their feature is Pig Candy which is a slow cooked bacon coated with sugar and spices and is great to share because you cant eat too much... More

My family were diving thru Jackson and stopped by for "Happy Hr", since we seen this place on DDD, FoodNetwork. My drink was not what I ordered, food extensive but it's Jackson, the waiter was like a robot, not even a smile it felt like our money was not good enough for this place. May not go back felt like... Exceptional food, great ambience, and you feel as though you were where the locals dine! I must add that the male server lacked friendliness and kept me from giving a five star rating.

Loved this little place for lunch and drinks. Trout hash (special) was pretty amazing. Nice outdoor seating too.

Loved the building itself, a log cabin type building with a really lovely outdoor wooden deck with heaters so that one can eat outdoors even in chilly weather. I had two meals there...the first was the grilled cheese with tomato soup, and the grilled cheese sandwich was just fantastic. I don't know if it was the bread, or the particular... More

Lovely, modern eatery in a quaint turn of century home. The food here is deliciously prepared fresh daily. I savored every bite of: Pig Candy (sweet and spicy candied bacon - A MUST), Snake River Farms Pork Neck Ragu (pappardelle pasta, ricotta, garlic bread crumbs), Ramen Noodle Bowl (house made noodles, braised pork shoulder, crispy pork belly, soft poached egg,... The staff were all friendly and helpful. Everyone can serve you, you're not entitled to just one waiter- nice! The food was good although a little slow. Not recommended if you're in a rush. But otherwise, it's a very nice place to grab a meal.
