I keep remembering the Poutine!

We found this restuarant on trip advisor and we were very pleased. Although we visited months ago, we talk about the poutine often. It was wonderful. Everything we ate that night was great as was the service.

Had a great meal at Cafe Genevieve! ....we actually split a meal because the steak size was huge! SO....I think that didn't please our server and he lost interest in checking on us. We had to get the check from the hostess because our server was chatting it up with patrons at the bar. Food was great, Service was not... More

This place was just okay, Atmosphere is a bit dated may want to play some music just to liven the place up. Occasional though a loud sound of something closing above the dinning area was I guess interesting. Pig candy was very spicy but worth trying. French onion soup was good. Rest of the dinner was bland and lacked creativity.... More

We have eaten twice at this cafe and the food is very good. The restaurant is a bit small or maybe cozy is the right word? The servers are very nice and the food is great! Will definitely return!

Hands down, this is the best breakfast place in Jackson. Wonderful selection ranging from the standard to the inventive. Even the usual (two eggs, bacon & toast) features really fresh eggs (we know, we have chickens), superb smoked bacon, and homemade bread. We also loved the Cajun Benedict, Biscuits & Gravy, and Mediterranean Eggs.

Just off the busy square in Jackson with an incredible view of Snow King. Perfect outdoor view. Appetizers were delicious and varied...something with local flair for everyone. Elk carpaccio was superb as was the best French onion soup I've ever tasted.pig candy was unusual but flavorful-salty, sweet, crunchy. The kids ate every bite. The Lamb shank was humongous-enough for two and... More

Cafe Genevieve has a unique menu that should please foodies. The deserts will be a highlight if you have a sweet tooth. The restaurant is in an old house so it has a very "local" feel to it. This is not a chain restaurant. The server was friendly and quick. She had great knowledge of the menu and made good... More

We stopped in apres ski for happy hour. Terrific wine selection. I got the brisket on "Texas Toast." The toast was really a spectacular square slab of brioche. I daresay even though I ate this meal over a week ago I think about how great our visit was there, friendly staff, and excellent food quality. In my opinion, a "must... More

We loved eating at Cafe Genevieve on our recent trip! The restaurant is located in a historic cabin in downtown Jackson. Everything about our experience was lovely - Megan, our server, couldn't have been more genuinely excited for us to try her food. It was so refreshing! Especially when the food was so good. I had the Friday fish fry,... More

My son and I stopped in recently and really enjoyed ourselves. We had the cheese plate appetizer, I had the grapefruit martini, and then my son had the grilled cheese and I had the burger. All were very fresh, served timely and hot....we were so stuffed and were tempted by their dessert offerings but declined. It was a great meal... More
