Description: The idea for The Kitchen came from a vision of a restaurant that would...
The idea for The Kitchen came from a vision of a restaurant that would provide something different - a refined, yet casual establishment that would provide modern cuisine with a comforting twist. The cuisine at The Kitchen embraces various culinary techniques and ingredients including all natural meats, seasonal vegetables, and sustainable, fresh fish. The presentation is clean, simple and natural. The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the concepts in the food. Purchased in June 2005, the old A-frame structured house was renovated to create a space with award-winning design and remarkable ambiance. The modern yet comforting theme led to the bamboo bar and tables, the luminescent eco-panel wave of light, and natural color scheme. An open kitchen design allows for greater connection with guests and offers a personalized experience. Enjoy a large outdoor deck during the long summer nights or sit by the warm fireplace in winter.

This is clearly one of the very best restaurants in Jackson. The food is creative and the decor equally interesting. The service is comfortable and informed. We started with the portobello/squash (excellent) and the truffled tuna (also excellent) appetizers. For mains, we tried the striped bass (excellent) and the catfish (also excellent). We finished with the cookie skillet for dessert... More

Very cool interior, quiet & relaxing. Outdoor seating is excellent & vibrant. I had the ribs & scallops, both were awesome. My husband had the luxury shrimp & salmon, excellent. Great cocktails, be sure to try the jalapeño strawberry lemonade.

We really enjoyed this place. The servers did an excellent job of explaining the menu choices. All small plates with an Asian theme but not exclusively Asian. There was a good crowd and the orders were expedited efficiently. If you enjoy food experiences put this on your list!

On this beautiful evening in Jacksom we had a table outdoor. Very friendly server and very informative. She made us feel very welcome to the place. We had 2 different starters - both delicious - both of us had chicken. Very juicy and well prepared - and the visual effect also fine. Prices are moderate. Wine list is rather big... More

After reading recommendations and having a close friend personally share her experience here, we made early Friday evening dinner reservations after a long day spent in GTNP hiking for our 7th anniversary. We arrived at 5:30, and only a few tables were taken, and we were seated promptly. Happy hour is from 5-6 (a pleasant surprise!) so we indulged in... More

Interesting decorating, but at the same time, very cozy. I had the flank steak and my husband had the pork chop. The food was great but portions are very small. You'll need an appetizer. Best meal yet in Jackson Hole. We'll be back but next time, we'll order an appetizer.

We enjoyed every part of our dinner. The handcrafted cocktails, appetizers, entrees and desserts were all amazing! I loved the casual and relaxing atmosphere. We had very nice servers, and highest quality of food. May the fork be with you!

We had purposely schedule one night in Jackson with no dinner plans and wandered into the Kitchen. What a great experience. We made a meal of several smaller plates, including ceviche, elk carpaccio, and shishito peppers, tacos, and scallops. Everything was exceptional. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The menu is quite varied for people with different tastes or... More
