Best restaurant in Jackson

We are semi-locals - as we are fortunate enough to be able to spend our summers in Jackson. We go out to eat about once a week while we are here and know all the higher-end restaurants well. We are also "foodies" and have eaten at several Michelin 3 star restaurants in the last few years. With... read more

We ate here on our wedding night in May. I have waited a while to write this review since we had pending issues with charges on our bill but it seems we have dropped off their radar and will not be satisfied with the issues. My then-fiance called the Wild Sage to make reservations for dinner on our wedding night.... More

We enjoyed a memorable dining experience at Wild Sage. The service was attentive and personal. The food was outstanding. I ordered the elk chop which I highly recommend. Reservations are a must.

I really wish I could give the Wild Sage six stars, as we had two of the best meals of our lives here. The first night we had a lovely elk chop (these are farmed raised elk, don't freak out) and a goose tart. The elk was sooooo good, cooked perfectly. The goose tart was also very tasty. The wine... Emphatic title only reflects my surprise this place is so low on the Trip Adivosr lists. The only conceivable notion I could come up with is that it's so well hidden within the Rusty Parrot (which we were fortunate enough to stay at and will throw a bone at here in this review, highly recommend!). Wild Sage was an absolute... More

First, it is located inside the Rusty Parrot Lodge. The restaurant has the same boutique vibe. I loved the open kitchen. Chef prepared a nice starter dish which is always appreciated. Great preparation of vegetables and game meats. Lovely wine menu and the offer wine pairing options and pre fixe menu. Very memorable meal. Add to your "top " list... More

We have been here several times, for special occasions, because you know it will be expensive, but it is worth every penny. Every bite is perfect, and the service superb, as well.

This is a small, intimate venue with inviting decor, a sophisticated menu and excellent waitstaff. The Wine Choices add even more to the options you have for dinner. While a bit high in price, the quality in both meals and service make this a great place for couples or groups. The highlight of my dinner was the Bison Ribeye...perfectly prepared... More
