I'm so sorry to say we have closed for good. Rhonda & Linda - the original owners - are making a cookbook. Friend us on Facebook to find out when it's done. Thank you for your years of support!

I used to love this place.... Great atmosphere, people and a great place to have breakfast or lunch. The art was very nice too. The new owners took this place, got rid of the art, stopped the great food. They really screwed up a great thing. For what the are doing there now u may as well go to Maverick.... More

The original Main Street Artisans had gourmet coffe and tea, great homemade soups and sandwiches. Great galley of local artists in past...no longer there. It is now a cupcake shop with no regular food. Atmosphere is non existent now. I would NOT call it a cafe anymore, nor a gallery!

Great sandwiches and cupcakes. Ingredients are fresh and the atmosphere is nice. They don't serve alcohol, but have plenty of soft drink options.

Stopped in on a road trip on I-80 for lunch. Nice sandwiches, italian sodas, coffee, cookies, baked goods. Artsy with arts and crafts for sale in the adjacent room and on the walls. Mainstream offerings, nothing too creative, but a good place to get a quick bite for the road.

Cozy atmosphere with good baked goods and cocoa. There is a little artist studio with some nice pottery and jewelry in the back. They have sidewalk seating when the weather is nice. Comfy chairs and games for when you want to warm up inside.

We stopped here while on a 10 day motorcycle trip. Finding good coffee on the road can be a challenge in some spots. Starbucks suffices, but all the better when one comes across a local shop full of character and warmth, like this one. My latte, and my partners drip coffee. were both rich and flavorful, while the egg &... More

I spent a week in Evanston and visited this coffee shop almost every day. The coffee is good and the local art on the walls is pleasant to look at. People gathered outside on most days, giving it a real community feel. They also have sandwiches, wraps and some baked goods. The sandwich was a bit plain, but good for... More

After drinking a particularly bad cup of coffee from someplace that claimed to be "smoker friendly" (they must have been smoking something besides cigarettes when they made that coffee), my partner (DH), stepson (DS) and I (YT) concluded that better coffee was bound to be had somewhere. Plus we were all feeling a bit peckish. We headed downtown and after... More
