Recommended so waited for open table. Once seated, at dirty table, waitress finally came and got our order but none of the leftovers from previous patrons. When my husband became frustrated with poor service (we've both worked many years in restaurants) and left I tracked down our waitress behind the counter and asked her to make it to go. She... More

Walked into the Cowboy Cafe after a 10 hour drive wearing my Cowboy Cafe shirt from a visit years past and decided NOT to give them my business. Common courtesy and customer service are in short supply around there. We were not made to feel welcome and left right away.

This little restaurant in downtown Dubois was just perfect for our dining pleasure and the decorations gave it a true "western" experience. We would definitely eat there again if back in Dubois.

Checked into my motel room, and got out to find something to eat. Found the Cowboy Cafe, and it looked just like it belonged to me. I grew up in Wyoming and have always felt at home in Dubois Wyoming. Cafe was full, and so was the seating outside, but saw a guy setting by himself, so ask if I... More

We arrived in town just before sunset on a Saturday, and were worried about a restaurant, and our hostess at the Twin Pines Lodge & Cabins suggested that if we were hungry for a burger, the Cowboy Cafe did the best in town. She was right! Juicy, tasty burgers cooked just the way we wanted and fries that would please... More

We were passing through. Fast service, great food and nice staff. The spicy elk and buffalo sausages are on our list for the next time we're through. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food & prompt service, variety of options, home made delicious pie. Hate to have a negative but noise level was so high we took r pie 2 go, several of us had headaches, low ceilings & outdoor seating was closed. Great idea 2 put water pitchers, glasses & silverware on the table. Attentive waitstaff in small restaurant.

My husband and I always enjoy eating at this busy restaurant in Dubois when visiting. It is a fun place to go not only to enjoy the good food but also the delicious homemade pies. It is also a great place to watch the tourists and locals mingle as they come into the café or they pass by the front... More

We ate here 4 times in 3 days. Small, obviously catering to locals. Great home-style cooking and interested management. Get there early, and with a big appetite. The pies are sublime.
