Gem in a small Wyoming town

The Cowboy Cafe has been busy every time I've eaten there and I know why -- excellent food, good portions, and fair prices. The staff keeps busy -- not usually time to sit and idly chat but not brusque either. Good plain food, nothing fancy, but I haven't regretted anything I've eaten there... read more

Quite a variety of delicious food including breakfast items, burgers and great salads. I will be stopping here again whenever I'm driving through Dubois.

We enjoyed the variety of entree's offered on the menu. Debbie, our waitress was the most pleasant, hard working gal. She made you feel very welcome and was very attentive to her customers. The large variety of pies are prepared locally. I would definitely save room for dessert!!

Two of the greatest food inventions. Fresh pie yes baked locally and Delicious!!!! Cowboy burger, enough said. If your going to eat a burger it should be called something that describes it perfectly. A must stop in Dubois for breakfast lunch or dinner! You won't be disappointed.

My friend had roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy. I chose deep fried prawns with fries. The roast beef slices were paper this and served in top of two slices of... More

Had a Wyoming Ribeye in an original Wyoming Cafe. 5-10 homemade pies available. I had a 16 oz steak with a pile of hash brown smothered in brown Gravy plus a bowl of veggies. Just like Mom used to make. Yum.

The food is just excellent at the Cowboy Cafe and the servers very friendly. We had breakfast lunch and dinner at the Cowboy and enjoyed all of our meals.

Enjoyed a juicy hamburger in classic Wyoming atmosphere. We couldn't help but notice the ample homemade pie and ice cream that other diners enjoyed, however. But we did not indulge.
