Great breakfast and large portions

Ate there for breakfast while I stayed overnight at Stagecoach Inn. Very good and large pecan pancake! Then when driving back through town four days later, ate here again for breakfast. Very attentive and friendly people work here, too.

The service was fast and friendly. The burgers were great, especially the Buffalo Burger well served and tasty. We also tried one of their pies and it was so good we took another one to go!

Went over here for breakfast, pretty good selection and good service. Its an older place but a fun "greasy spoon" Fun to sit and listen to the locals and tourists.

My wife and I had a wonderful late morning meal and just beat the noon lunch rush. I had a great breakfast and she had an outstanding Reuben sandwich. Then we had pie ... the list of choices was long; perhaps a dozen to choose from. I understand they are baked on the premises. Apple rhubarb was very good and... More

I ate here for breakfast and dinner. It was always busy (locals like to eat here, however, if the locals support it, it must be good!) I preferred sitting outside on the small deck, but food and service was excellent.

This is a very small cafe in the heart of Dubois. Always friendly folks with just good ole home cooking. Portions are more than you expect with great prices. This IS the place to go for any meal when staying or passing through town.

We stopped for a late lunch at this small café and we were wonderfully surprised at the great food and service. The food portions are more than ample and the home cooking was delicious. They have a wonderful selection of home cooked pies. The wait staff make you feel welcome as if you were a local friend.

Our family of 6 stayed at a nearby motel and ate here at the recommendation of staff. I'm glad we listened. It was enjoyable eating breakfast with locals, bikers, travelers, etc. Especially tasty were the Buffalo Bill omelet with buffalo sausage and Yellowstone Skillet with spicy elk sausage. For dessert we all shared a very large piece of homemade berry... More

We had dinner and breakfast at the Cowboy Cafe. The food is okay, and the service is pleasant and competent. The place was crowded, but we got seated and served fairly quickly. It would be a good choice for either adults or people traveling with children.

I drove all the way from Montrose, Co to see Dave Stamey, a Western singer/song writer I love and from all the reviews, knew this place would be great. Very busy with locals and well worth the stop. Had breakfast of biscuits and gravy, then back for lunch, yummy hamburger, hand cut fries and oh my, the pie toffee pecan,... More
