I was so excited to try this restaurant after all the great reviews. We arrived later in the evening and I think the staff was just a bit tired as were we. The atmosphere was great! Would love to try it again as the kitchen was out of a few things by the time we got there.

Great rustic food, big portions and happy servers. Everything comes out hot and tasty. Not for picky eaters....it's cowboy food. If you love biscuits and gravy, this is the place.

We were not very hungry, since we had eaten a larger breakfast earlier in the day. All four of us ordered the soup of the day, which was... More

The food was excellent. The country fried steak was the best we've had. Their pies with ice cream is the best! The service was very good with friendly staff.

Basic menu but food was freshly cooked and plentiful. Staff were attentive. Be prepared to share tables. Nothing memorable but good value.

Walked in after stopping for gas up the street & found locals at the tables, always a good sign. Tables are set with icy water pitchers & large cups to fill them so no waiting. Utensils, napkins, & condiments ready, you set up what you want (utensils are wrapped). Service just right, not hovering & not missing. Very friendly with... More

Every time we come into town to visit family we MUST have a meal at the Cowboy Café. If not a meal at least the Delicious Pies. We each get a different one so we can share and try a different one. Never tried one that was not to die for. Cant decide which is my favorite. I personally know... More

My husband and I ventured into Dubois on a recent trip to Jackson Hole. We went here on a recommendation. I had the burger and my husband had the chicken fried steak. Both were good. Our server was personable and efficient. This is where the locals go!
