Just a great, relaxing place for both drinks and supper. The margaritas were tasty and satisfying. One of us had ribs, which he said were awesome, while I enjoyed the Wedge salad, which he had to finish... more than a meal. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. Two thumbs up.

Don't expect a Saloon. Expect a small steakhouse. We received a recommendation from Cody Cowboy Village that Proud Cut Saloon was a good steak joint. So we went. Upon our arrival we approached the hosted and was asked if we had reservations. Which we did not. Then were told it would be an hour wait. Then we asked to sit... More

Our family (two adults and four kids) was walking around Cody looking for a restaurant for dinner when a large storm rolled through. We sought refuge in the lobby area of the historic Irma Hotel. While there, we reviewed their menu and were a little skeptical of the quality/prices...so we searched TripAdvisor for other restaurants while we waited....turns out the... More

With a high recommendation on the Flat Iron steak we made our way to the Saloon...with no one seated at the bar we were excourted to a SMALL 4x6 enclosed room next to the restroom. NO Saloon ATMOSPHERE HERE!!! Then my disabled husband complained that his chair was not level and that is when I discovered the overflow from the... More

The Proud Cut has to be one of the best restaurants in Cody. The food was excellent !!!! They have a smoker with ribs in the front entrance that lure you in. The seating area can be cramped but the food is well worth it. Highly Recommend !!!

Everything we had was excellent and the price was very reasonable for the quality in a vacation town. I had the flat iron steak which was very flavorable and my husband had the strip steak, Loaded baked potatoes were flaky, the salads had a nice mixture of lettuce (not iceberg). Molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was great. With... More

Above average steak, good prices, ribeye was $25 and included baked potato and salad. Service was not so good but that didn't bother me since I had a glass of wine and was in "relax mode". The western decor is fun and worth the visit!

We had a stop over night in Cody on our way from Custer Park to the Tetons. I wish we had more time for this little town! People that had done this same trip a year ago suggested we eat at the Proud Cut and I am so glad we did. We wanted to eat in the dining room not... More

This restaurant and bar has been around for a while. People came through the front door while we were eating just to check it out. We opted toeat in the small dining room with the bar rather that go out back to the patio, just to absorb the old west atmosphere. The steaks were good and the waitress friendly.

Had and excellent dinner at the Proud Cut. The drinks arrived in a timely manner as did the meal. The food was especially good, be sure and add a few of their wonderful shrimp with your steak. We got there shortly after 5:00. They were not busy at that time, be aware they fill up quickly so if you want... More
