This is a historic building which has a gorgeous bar, lounge and dining room. They offer a breakfast and lunch buffet, reasonably priced. Friendly waitress and gift shop attached. William Cody built this hotel and named it after his daughter, also a hotel above.

Sunday lunch there it is nice place to eat. The store is cool. But the prices are a little high. The bar is nice to eat in it is dark in there.

It felt like history was coming to life in this restaurant located in this wonderful Western town in Wyoming. I had never been out West before, and was just fascinated. I had been told that I had to have a steak in Wyoming, so that was the first order of business. The peppercorn sauce is great, and the steak was... More

Historical must. They had both buffet and menu service. The food is average. It reminds you of the Wild West. The service was friendly and very timely.

Going for the historic sense of what Bill Cody's fine hotel must have once been we ended up here twice as it was easy to get in without a reservation. The prime rib buffet seemed ok but set up like a 1970s banquet at a holiday inn we opted for steaks off the menu one night and I tried the... More

I had been to the Irma many years before and wanted to go back for the steaks. I could not have been more disappointed. I paid a premium price for a subpar steak. I would save your money and go somewhere else.

What a beautiful piece of wood carving. That is worth a glance. The rest is just an old building and (in my opinion) no decent beer.It is situated down the road from the Stampede Grounds. The weekly rodeo is worth seeing.

We have been to the Irma numerous times, the last being 2006. The food did not live up to previous visits. When I told the young man behind the buffet that the food was barely warm, his comment was, "some food just doesn't stay warm." I would have thought, for health code reasons, he would have said he would check... More
