Crowded and generally need reservations

I have eaten here in years gone by, and ate in the bar earlier in the week. It has always been good and brunch was no exception. Biggest chicken fried steak I have ever had. Waffles were good as were biscuits and gravy. Service was good and everyone was courteous. We will go back!

We went for dinner on a Sunday night and we were pleasantly surprised with a great experience. We split the prime rib that was great and added a salad. The waitress was delightful and talkative. We also had drink at the bar before dinner and the bartender was great. She did tell about Cassies was originally a Brothel in the... More

I was waiting for a table and went to the bar to order a drink. I ordered a Moscow Mule, and the bartender said "we don't have any ginger beer" and walked away before I could order an alternative. The rudeness here is simply unsurpassed, and unacceptable. I won't be going back to this one. This rudeness seems to be... More

When we arrived we were told that there would be a forty minute wait so we went to the bar area for a drink. Since it was already 7 p.m., we asked about ordering hors d'oeuvres while we were waiting, we were told that we could if we removed our names from the dining room waiting list - very odd.... More

Great food and historic atmosphere. Good service. Prime rib was the special and it was excellent. Had the buffalo Elks Burger also - excellent.

Me and my family stopped by last night to have dinner, and the two female waitress/hostess were VERY RUDE! We decided not to eat there. We ended up going down the road and eating at Bubbas Barbecue and was treated with great respect and the food was excellent. But as for Cassie's, I would avoid this rude place like the... More

We ate here 5 years ago and it might have been the best steak I ever ate and the service was great. Today the service was poor, the atmosphere less than appealing and the steak just ok. Our waitress never told us of the evening specials or that the bread was not ready. We heard that information from the waitress... More

I was in town for the first time and went with some local friends. Ordered a Country Fried Steak and loved it, but the service was a total joke. Our server was never around, our coffees and water were never refilled, and my bill had hidden upcharges and prices higher than listed on the menu. When brought to the attention... More

We were excited to eat here since my nickname is Cassie. We arrived at around 4:45 and it was pretty dead - a few tables had people. Our server was very friendly and set us up with water and iced teas. I had ordered their version of a blooming onion as an appetizer and we waited. And waited. Half an... More

Can not rate the food but we had went to Yellowstone for the day and got back and was starving. We looked up restaurants and Cassie's was suppose to be open till 10:00, we got there at 9:20 and the bartender said kitchen was closed. I think if a place says open till a certain time they should be. I... More
