First, to be fair, I was there on a Friday night during the biker migration to Sturgis and the place was packed. I had a reservation for the prime rib buffet and then show ticket. As a lone diner, they placed me in a separate dinning room at the back of the restaurant that was totally empty at that time.... More

We had the best Prime Rib I believe I have ever had. They have a buffet but we don't eat that much so we split a 16oz cut and shared. It was more than enough!! Our waitress was very good and accommodating. We really enjoyed the dinner and the atmosphere. The old antique bar was beautiful and some of the... More

This place was fun and historic. The bar is the original bar Buffalo Bill sent over from England. It is a beautiful bar! We had the buffet and there were great choices from the Bison sloppy joes to the roast beef. If you like bread pudding like I do you will enjoy it here. They also have a whiskey sauce... More

I went in to try some local food so, being from seacoast New England I ordered the Rocky Mountain Oysters, ( I do know the origin of them, but never tried them, although my traveling companion did not know the oyster origin), they were deep fried and a little to greasy for me. I did have the pot pie-it was... More

The Irma restaurant is average for food and service. The buffet is better than most. The history behind this property is the drawing point. You don't want to go through Cody, Wy without stopping here.

While staying in Cody, Wyoming, my husband & I ate at the Irma three times, twice for dinner & once for breakfast. Buffalo Bill Cody named this place for his daughter, Irma. We thought the breakfast was very good and filling. The only issue I had was I ordered a filet medium, as did my husband, and mine was well... More

We enjoyed lunch at the Irma. The menu provides a story about the hotel and restaurant, which we enjoyed. Both a la carte (sandwiches, burgers) and buffet (bison sloppy joes were a highlight) were very good.

Irma's is by reputation the place to dine in Cody. Family of six had a customer service failure at multiple levels- despite having reservations which got us seated promptly we had interminable wait for menus, water and food. when food came, one of our orders was lost and never located- we ultimately cancelled that order. Waitress made effusive apologies and... More

On a recent trip to Cody Wyo, we stopped into the Irma hotel for their breakfast buffet. The buffet opens at 7am, we arrived around 7:10am, it was obvious the components of the buffet were put out before it was ready. The scrambled eggs were cold, and the gravy for the biscuits was cold. I assume these products are preprepared... More
