On a day trip to Cody and after the wonderful trolley tour we had lunch at the Irma. The ticket agent recommended it telling us the buffet was wonderful and had shrimp. The place was busy, the wait staff was ok our first server did not know what was on the the buffet so we had to run up and... More

Huge slab of prime rib, barbeque shotr ribs, fish, oysters rockefeller etc for a reasonable price. Come in after the gunfight! We combined with the Dan Miller Cowboy Music Show for a great evening.

This is the first hotel in Cody Wyoming, founder was Buffalo Bill himself. My wife had the Cody cut prime rib and I had the prime rib buffet, both were very very good. The service was a touch slow but that may have been me. They also have actors dressed as gunfighter s wondering the dinning room which adds a... More

Prime rib was great !! Although I am not a mashed potato fan, they were yummy as well as the cod. The waitress was very good and the Irma hotel was like the old west. Did I mention the salad bar. Lots of choices as well. The whole buffet was yours for the choosing if you did not do the... More

Went in to eat after watching the "shoot-out". It's a bit like a grand old lady, who's well past her best and living on past memories. Yes, it's atmospheric inside, but also rather scruffy and not well-kept. Good if you like eating under the sad eyes of dead animals mounted on the walls. We were seated in the rear room... More

Had dinner on the porch at this historic hotel. The place was extremely busy, I suspect with fellow tourists on a stopover. The table was covered in a filthy plastic cloth which the waitress made no attempt to wipe down. Our food came with the wrong sides and stone cold, the buffalo burger was standard cheap beef burger.I don't expect... More

The bone-in ribeye was great, and the ribs were very good. The liquor selection was surprisingly thin, and the place was a bit crowded and harshly lit. But it has a real historic Western feel, and is definitely worth going to.

If you like breakfast buffets and would like something a little different, you also have the option of enjoying some buffalo sausage. And this all takes place in a vintage restaurant/hotel that was build by Wild Bill Cody. This restaurant is also a local favorite so you know it has to be good. It is located right in the center... Loved this place. Huge burger, local beer crusty characters, sweet servers, Rocky Mt. Oysters, Shady outside seating for great people watching. Lots of western history, you felt like Mr Cody might just ride up & hitch his horse & join you for a cold one. Great people watching, the passing parade of locals & tourists made for a nice lunch... We ate at this restaurant while in Cody for the night. We were disappointed in the quality and service. The lettuce in the salad bar was brown, my chicken pot pie was cold in the center and my husband's steak was not cooked properly. Our service was also poor, our waitress acted like she could have cared less if she... More
