We enjoyed our meal at Irma's. Our waitress was very busy, but had a great personality and was funny. I had the buffet, which had roast beef, bison sloppy joes, bread pudding, veggies, potatoes, rolls. My kids liked their cheeseburgers. This restaurant is part of the Hotel Irma, which Buffalo Bill Cody opened and named after his youngest daughter.

They actually do taste like fried oysters. The Irma is a classic old west hotel. We ate at the historic cherrywood bar. It was a Saturday early evening on July 12, one of the busiest months, and we went in right after the daily gunfight show out in front of the hotel. Needless to say the place was absolutely packed.... More

Heard good things about this place and the so call shoot out. Wr walked in to make reservations and the place was dingy and dirty. We decided to go to the WY Rib and Chop instead and very glad we did. They also charged a fee to rent a chair for a 15 min shoot out. No thank you. If... More

The Irma has a wonderful history and had been preserved very well. The food was good, but the pricing was a little high - even the buffets were too expensive for the quantity. It is where some of the local events take place, so it is centrally located, but we didn't stay or eat there after the first couple of... More

Went to Irma's for the gun show which was sad at best but they do donate all all proceeds to charity. Tried to eat dinner here after the show but left after being seated for 15 minutes. The service was extremely slow and they had no idea what the ingredients are in there meals when I inquired for my son's... More

We decided to eat here after the nightly gun fight. We had made reservations earlier in the day. The gun fight finished before our reservation time. Our table was ready but the staff was a bit rude about us sitting 25 minutes early. So, we were left to sit for quite awhile. No one came to take our drink order.... More

We were at the Buffalo Bill Museum. So at lunch we figured.... why not stop in at the restaurant he named after his daughter. It was cool to see the building restored to original condition. We had the lunch buffet and really enjoyed the meal. The service was great and atmosphere was classic western. We had a great time and... More

The food, especially the buffet was bad. You pay the prices for the atmosphere which is interesting. The actors from the Shootout visit with the guests, which was perhaps the 'highlight' of our stay in Cody. The Shootout itself is a waste of time and effort.

Stopped in for breakfast and went with the buffet. We don't eat buffets but were in a hurry. What a pleasant surprise, fresh cut roast beef that was tender and tasty. But have to say the real head turner was the bread pudding with whiskey sauce - YUMMM, hick.

Atmosphere, service and food, all excellent. We loved the dining room and the atmosphere. There are a lot of wonderful photographs on the walls. We ordered lunch from the menu versus the buffet. We had great service and our food was delicious.
