Best fine dining in the Cheyenne area!

This is the place my husband and I go for an always great meal in a quieter adult atmosphere. Service is always exceptional, food is fantastic whether you prefer steak, seafood, chicken or vegetarian. Poor Richards has a tradition of taking care of their customers. Highly recommend.

My husband and Inreturned yesterday (25th July) from a road trip to Wyoming and Colorado. Dinner at Poor Richards provided a superb last dinner in the U.S. The service was top notch and the quality of the food was exceptional. We shared crab cakes and pot stickers as a starter, which were scrumptious. We both had fillet mignon which was... More

Our family came here two nights in a row and loved both meals. The highlight was our server, Curtis, who really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was also excellent. The menu choices were impressive--steaks, seafood and much more. I had a wonderful prime rib one night and an even more... More

Poor Richards is consistently good, fresh food. Their salad bar is well managed and fresh. The menu is basically American fare but with some different choices for most everyone. The portions are very adequate and balanced. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very attentive. Not open on Sundays. Great place to eat.

We love coming with Poor Richard's when we're in Cheyenne. We drive past lots of restaurants from our hotel to get there. The food is always out of this world. Although we're not in love with salad bars, the steaks are outstanding. This time I ordered a pasta dish and guess what...it was delicious, too! (If you go on Monday... More

We were passing thru and stayed overnight in Cheyenne, and wanted a fine dining experience in town. My research led me to this place which was superb. Great food (pork chop & steaks), a selection of draft beer, wines, and helpful servers. Moderately busy for a weeknight, which tells me the locals support this place. Plenty of parking and a... My lady friend and I had dinner here on a Friday evening--our first visit here in months. Our waitress was attentive, competent, and cheerful, and the bottled beer was cold. Unfortunately, the tasty crab cakes were served lukewarm at best and should have been sent back. The once great salad bar featured wilted lettuce and a disappointingly lean selection of... More

We used Poor Richards for our rehersal dinner venue. The food and service was great! The prices can be kind of high but definatly one of Cheyenne's classier restraunts.

Food was excellent. Best Marsala sauce I ever had! Creamy and delicious! Salad bar was good. Atmosphere was relaxing. Waitress was fun and witty. Locals were friendly. The 'old lady' at reception was hilarious. We had fun and left stuffed!
