Can't comment on the food, but the lounge in the back is chill. Great place to enjoy a glass of Scotch or wine.

I have to say I love a burger smothered in green chili. Poor Richards was awesome! Service was ok a little slow but the food was well worth the wait. Definitely will return.

This establishment sounded like a good stop for dinner based on other reviews. My groups personal experience was pathetic to say the least. The service was non existent and was higher priced than it was worth. On a happy note, I now know to not try here again.

We had lunch at Poor Richard’s and loved it. Great food, lovely ambiance, excellent service (impressive wine list too!). All in all, an excellent restaurant – highly recommended!

The salad I ordered was excellent and we were very please with our waiter, he seemed to be right there with our every need. Everyone was very happy with their meal and the great prices were a bonus. We will return when in Cheyene

This restaurant was recommended to us by local friends. We could instantly see why it has such a loyal local following. The steaks and trout were cooked perfectly. The bar man is a real pro. We had a too-new waiter, who meant well, but who did not know the menu, etc. We spoke one quiet word to the bar tender... More

This is a place we have been for lunch maybe three times. I cannot really talk about dinner but the lunch first time was great bringing us back again and it was good now it is fair. The menu is narrow , the service although attentive was disorganized , the food was only average to mediocre. Hopefully this was an... More

We were looking for a decent place to eat after visiting Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo and were pleasantly surprised to find Poor Richard's. Not many restaurants can prepare steak AND lamb really well, but this elegant and reasonably priced restaurant does that and so much more. Had to go back and try their brisket, slaw and bbq brown lentils. So... More
