My wife and I had dinner at Sanford's Grub & Pub while staying in Cheyenne. The decor was a bit over-the-top as there were trinkets, memorabilia, and paraphernalia hanging everywhere on the walls and ceiling... kind of a fun atmosphere. It was late, so, we grabbed a couple of beers and the barbeque pork nachos (which were large). In general,... More

Food was very good. Most plates had enough for 2 people. Prices reasonable based on amount of food received. Good service.

Had a wonderful lunch here. Husband's bacon cheese burger was really good as was my crocodile cristo (Monte Cristo). Will return.

This place was recommended by the hotel staff as a local place with good food. Bar area was full, so I soloed at a table. Service was slow even for 8PM. Ordered a beer and that took a while for that. Then ordered cajun queso, but they brought out queso with chili. They realized it later. Ordered the Cajun BlueCheese... More

After a less-than-appetizing experience elsewhere in Cheyenne, Sanford's really hit the spot. The decor and ambience in this downtown spot thrills young and old alike. When the mechanic comes to take your order, "fill 'er up" is a solid response as there are ample "leaded" beverages on tap and all are served in fun pint jars. The kitschy menu is... More

A sensory overload with all the decor: but aside from that, which I personally found quite charming, the service and food were blah. Waitress, while pleasant enough, clearly had a cold and did not feel up to bring at work that night (who can blame her?) so the service left us feeling as if we were an impediment, rather than... My daughter had the "special " which was 22ounce steak for $22.95. Very tender, great value. I has Cajun style pasta also very good as was jumbalaya and chicken sandwich others in our party had. Would recommend. In downtown area.

I usually love this place so this may have just been an off day. Service was slow. The description of the food that the waitress gave was way off of what came out. She did apologize for that as well as the wait. We both left with an "eh" attitude.
