Delightful

The food was hot and came out pretty quick. Our waitress was so personable and friendly to us. It has a fun atmosphere and we can't wait to visit again.

One of the best places to eat, meet the locals and enjoy the ambiance. Hefty portions (brought half the breakfast back to motel) and reasonably priced.

I ate here years ago and returned for a chicken fried steak, which they took off the menu. I had some kind of sandwich, which was average but over priced. The service was excellent, the food mediocre.

Great breakfast place. Large portions and the best pancakes ever ( one pancake can feed two people). The atmosphere is great as well as the service. Part of the dining area is an actual old railroad dining car. This place is also a local favorite.

Read that this is a great place to stop, but we weren't too impressed. The outside is kitschy, which I liked. The inside was okay and the food was fine, but nothing special. We had cheesesteaks and a burger. The service was fairly slow even thought there weren't other customers.

The best breakfast!! I had huevos ranchero and it was the best I have ever had. My husband had the biscuits and gravy. Was awesome as well. Will come here every time we are in Cheyenne!

For being rated so high on trip advisor I expected better. There is a little bit of history behind the place, which makes it pretty cool. A pretty small place, where you can see right into the kitchen from some of the tables. It seemed like a locals kind of place. The food was ok. We had the Chicken Fried... More

The ambiance of this restaurant is perfect for Cheyenne. Half of the restaurant is a train car and the other half was added on later, nothing fancy but it's a comfortable place for a meal and the people are warm and inviting. We used to love to go here for breakfast, the food was good and the staff was great. This is a locals place that serves great homemade food. We had eggs, grits and The Boxcar, which was a mix of scrambled eggs, ham and cheese. Very yummy! Menu has tons of choices. The place is small with tables very close together. During Frontier Days, expect a 10-minute wait. Service was great as well.

Breakfast was delicious. Biscuit and waffles were light and fluffy . . . Clearly homemade. Service was fast and friendly!
