Excellent Breakfast; Tiny & Crowded

This is a locals place that serves great homemade food. We had eggs, grits and The Boxcar, which was a mix of scrambled eggs, ham and cheese. Very yummy! Menu has tons of choices. The place is small with tables very close together. During Frontier Days, expect a 10-minute wait. Service was great as... read more

For being rated so high on trip advisor I expected better. There is a little bit of history behind the place, which makes it pretty cool. A pretty small place, where you can see right into the kitchen from some of the tables. It seemed like a locals kind of place. The food was ok. We had the Chicken Fried... More

The ambiance of this restaurant is perfect for Cheyenne. Half of the restaurant is a train car and the other half was added on later, nothing fancy but it's a comfortable place for a meal and the people are warm and inviting. We used to love to go here for breakfast, the food was good and the staff was great. The... More

Breakfast was delicious. Biscuit and waffles were light and fluffy . . . Clearly homemade. Service was fast and friendly!

In town for Frontier Days, we tried this diner out for breakfast. Wow! Large, perfectly cooked helpings of omelet, fried eggs, crispy hash browns, and toast. Four slices of thick cut bacon, just crispy enough, and my husband added a German sausage, thinking it would be small. It was large, split open and grilled. We couldn't finish but hated to... More

This quaint little joint is the best place for breakfast in Cheyenne. Service is outstanding and the food is out of this world. This is where the locals go!

This place serves really great breakfasts and is in a cute building. Part of the building is an old train car. The food is wonderful (I've only ate breakfast there) and the service is really fast.

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch after some of the outstanding reviews online. We truly wanted to like it because the structure was unique and different. We're always looking for interesting places that aren't chain restaurants. We went in the winter, and it wasn't that warm inside. The food was below average and very greasy. We enjoyed the... More

Stopped for a good solid meal on an 900 mile travel day. Good food, friendly locals, cheery wait staff. Meech needed some wake up and ordered coffee. She had her first cup of 'cowboy' coffee. Black, strong - stand a fork up in it...

Had a good lunch here the other day so we tried their breakfast. Pretty poor showing...long long wait for food, very slow with coffee refills, and worse yet, the food was only so so. The potatoes on both plates were actually cold. We sent them back. They came back and had obviously been microwaved and still we're only warm. We... More
