One of the best breakfast burritos in town

I have been here twice within two weeks. I had the breakfast burrito one time and I had a chicken fried steak one time. The breakfast burrito is not comparable to R & B (another Cheyenne area restaurant) because the burritos are fundamentally different. For the El Paso burrito at The Luxury, it is... read more

We did a day trip April 25 from Denver to Cheyenne to have lunch at Luxury Diner. When we pulled into the parking lot, along with others, workers coming out the backdoor said it would be closed at least two weeks, up to a month. My advice is to call before making any plans.

We had a group of 5 and it was over a 1/2 hour between the first meal coming out and the last. Food was less than presentable and one of the members of my party had burnt bacon. The waitress did keep the glasses and cups full.

I have been to Luxury Diner many times and I have never been disappointed. Half of the diner is in an old train dining car and it's always bustling. The food is outstanding -- breakfasts are hearty, plentiful and old style, reminiscent of grandma's farm breakfasts. Eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, biscuits & gravy -- all the basics, all delicious.... More

Always a great breakfast here, hard working staff, and a classic diner. Yes they can get rather busy, which speaks for the food and service.

May be small in size, you may have to share a table with others, it is worth it. Service is always good, waiting for a meal, even when very busy, is not that long and always well prepared to order, pricing is fair, service always with a smile! We both had the Boxcar this time in...better have a large appetite.... More

Great place for a cup of coffee and good meal. The breakfast burrito and chicken fried steak is excellent. I've heard many other dishes are just as good.

I had to go to Cheyenne on business and ate lunch at the Luxury Diner for the first time. Now I kick myself for not having found it when I lived there about 10 years ago. It's a seat-yourself diner, hardly luxurious but still charming with lots of small antiques to peruse while waiting for your food. But the best... More

I think that the Luxury Diner has one of the best breakfasts in town. I especially enjoy their breakfast burrito. I do not know if I have ever found a better one. Lunches are good too, it just seems to be my go to place for breakfast. It is just diner fare, but if you like "hole in the wall"... More
