This place has great food and fast service, also friendly service. The diner is in an old rail car...with some great rail prints, photos and art on the walls. It has a genuine "diner" feel. While we were there we could see that there were many locals and regulars eating there, which to me is always a good sign. I... More

That genuine diner feel is exactly what we strive for—a little nostalgia from a time long past with some quality food. I'm glad the two of you thoroughly enjoyed yourselves. It sounds like you made some great choices. I hope your travels bring you back this way again. We'd love to serve up another delicious meal. I recommend trying our... More

Had breakfast here on our trip West. Nothing special. The service was attentive, but the food was just average. Selection is limited, so if you have picky children with you, you might want to try someplace else.

Thanks for coming by to see us during your trip. For as small of a place as we are, we feel our selection is pretty good. With both a children's breakfast menu and a children's lunch & dinner menu, most kids are pretty pleased with the options. Sorry to hear that you didn't think our food was anything special, though.... More

A funky little traditional diner with great service and a neighborhood feel. The huge breakfast menu tempted us, but we went with the classic burger and were glad we did.

Better to have too many tempting options than not enough, right Erin? Thanks for coming by to see us while you were in town. I'm happy to hear that you loved our burgers, and I hope you find yourself back this way to try out more of what we have to offer. We appreciate the excellent review! Best, John Coolbaugh,... More

Visited Cheyenne during one of their spring blizzards this year. Fortunately we were staying right across the street, so we breakfasted here almost every morning. Food was outstanding; everything we had was wonderful. The service was fast and friendly, the only drawback is that is was a tad on the expensive side.

After a long day of driving we stopped in for a quick bite. We ordered a luxury burger, the hobo breakfast plate, and a grilled cheese sandwich. Everything was delicious and the service wonderful I never needed to ask for a refil or extra napkins. I did not see a changing table but there were two restrooms so there might... More

Nice little diner with relaxed atmosphere and decent food. It was very busy the morning I went because it happened to be a Sunday and St. Patrick's Day but service was good and food didn't take long.

The Luxury Diner is well worth tracking down. This little converted train car diner has the best green chili breakfast burritos and chicken fried steak in Cheyenne. It has a fun nick-knack style decor that the kids loved and quick, attentive service. Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 went to this fun little place on our way from Colorado back home to Nebraska. We met a local Cheyenne friend and her 2 children. The group of 7 (4 children ages 3-10) was seated immediately, but it wasn't very busy because it was 9am on a Friday. The food was good and the prices were... More

Headed out for an early breakfast with two grandsons in tow. Both boys loved the idea of eating in a caboose and were intrigued with the diner's train decor. Service was fast and friendly. The boys were immediately asked whether they liked to color. After an enthusiastic YES, they were quickly given real coloring books and colors. Much better than... More

Thanks for the review! I appreciate you pointing out that we make an effort to get to know our diners. That's the kind of personal service that we're very proud to provide here.
