Great Place

We asked at our Motel about a good place to eat and this was recommended. It is definitely a place that locals come and was a treat. It seems the chicken fried steak is very popular and we can attest it is good. The waitress seemed to hide unless she had reason to come to a table. Service was... read more

Recommended by trolley driver. We stopped for lunch. The food was very good but can't say enough about the service. It means so much to be treated well by a professional server. Makes you want to go back . Prices are very reasonable. Give it a try if you are in downtown Cheyenne.

We had dinner at the Albany during a recent stay in Cheyenne. The food was very good, and the service was competent and fast. The value was very good. However the place has absolutely no pretention. People needing that should go somewhere else. Those wanting a nice dinner in a comfortable setting should give the place a try.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at the Nagle Warren Mansion. They were absolutely correct! This restaurant was packed on a week night with not much going on in downtown Cheyenne. I have not had a hot roast beef sandwich like this one in almost 50 years. The beef was so tender and the gravy was superb.... More

I had my ole standby the chicken fried steak and it was excellent, handmade, not frozen. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food (steak, prime rib.) Service was friendly and good. A great historical place to visit and eat.

My wife and I ate here during our stay in Cheyenne, Wy. We wanted a real restaurant and not fast food. Our meals were great and the service was fine. Staff was friendly and we had a good experience and conversation.

Terrific!!- This is a great old restaurant. Opened in 1942, it doesn't seem to have changed much- old wooden booths, old time pictures, etc.- absolutely no pretensions here. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and willing to accommodate any desire. Had prime rib and a ribeye and both were in our top 10 or so ever ( which is... More

Good food, good and friendly service, you really can't ask for more. The reuben, French dip, and chef salad are my favorites.

The food was average. The restaurant was crowded and noisy. The food was just ok. I wouldn't go there again.

We ended up in Cheyenne for the day. Across the square from the Saturday farmers' market is The Albany. The menu offers plenty of variety. We had a chicken burrito and a Rueben, two separate meals. Both were delicious. We shared and agreed we might try them again the next time we are in town. Plenty of variety on tap... More
