Good

This was our first visit to the Morris House and the first night of their summer menu which changes every three months. We tried the melon and cheese plate appetizer which was excellent. For entrées, we had the shrimp & grits and the ribeye steak. Both were good. The grits were done to... read more

This was our first visit to the Morris House and the first night of their summer menu which changes every three months. We tried the melon and cheese plate appetizer which was excellent. For entrées, we had the shrimp & grits and the ribeye steak. Both were good. The grits were done to perfection with just a little heat. The... More

This delightful southern-influenced restaurant is in an old house that's been perfectly restored. The food was wonderful and a little different option from all the large amounts of beef available in most Cheyenne restaurants. Definitely a place to take a client or for a special family occasion.

Morris House Bistro is one of the few nice restaurants in Cheyenne, which makes it, in comparison to others, a nice place to enjoy a meal. The service is always speedy and nice, and the house is cute and quaint. The menu has a very unique menu, and almost always one vegetarian option. It is a nice restaurant, especially for... More

We’ve eaten here a few times and the food has been good to delicious but it just isn’t “all that” as folks like to rave. You don’t get to pick a side here – it comes with what’s on the menu and I don’t care for collard greens or grits. You can order a side for an additional $8 or... More

Mel: Thanks so much for eating with us and taking the time to write a review. We sincerely do appreciate that. We completely recognize that the Bistro isn't for everyone, and because of the size and our commitment to making everything fresh in-house, it does mean that our prices are a little higher than chain restaurants and others that may... I could not wait to go to this restaurant after seeing the menu on-line. It's in an old house and reservations are mandatory due to the small size. I ordered the friend green tomatoes, which were diced into small bits and fried instead of the traditional slices, which made it taste like all dough and no tomatoe. I also ordered... More

The food is just outstanding here. Expect perfection and you will find it. Service is very good, not overbearing, but very carefully seeing everything is 'just right.' Expect not just the waitress or waiter to ask how your food is but the chef himself will probably stop by for the same reason. Or, to offer a suggestion for an extra... More

If you are looking for a fine dining experience for a special occasion look no further. The food is on par with fine dining in New York or other major cities. The restaurant is located in a historic house near the capitol and downtown. The food is inspired by southern home cooking with attention paid to details and nice wine... More

We checked trip advisor on the way to Cheyenne and decided to stop at this little bistro Sat night. We didn't call for a reservation, just stopped by. It's a little strange when you first go in the door, we weren't sure that it was the entrance. No welcome or enter sign, a little table with menu's on it inside... More

This restaurant is one of the finest we have ever had the pleasure to dine in. The Owner Dameione sat down at our table and we had a wonderful conversation. We felt like Royalty. The food was out of this world! I had the shrimp and grits, and my wife had the wapoo cut seafood lasagna. Both dishes were phenomenal,... More
