We had a delightful dinner here during Frontier Days. The restaurant was understandably busy, but the service and the pace of food delivery was excellent. We have eaten in many small cities and towns in the Western U.S. and this one is as good as any, better than most. The two owners add to the overall quality of the food... More

This old home has been converted to a lovely bistro featuring South Carolina cuisine. Lovely garden. Tremendous jazz trio on Saturday nights. We would definitely go back.

What an amazing place, the atmosphere and charm are tops. The shrimp and grits were out of this world. Save room for desert!

The Palmetto flag alongside the Wyoming flag by the front door indicate the two owners' roots, and the dining experience here combines the best of both worlds. The dining room is gracious yet cozy, not cramped, and there is an open terrace for warm-weather al fresco dinners. This evening, there was even live music on the terrace. The menu contains... More

Small southern charm is the overall experience of this restaurant. The overall one and only dining room is the single floor of an old house. Mildly cramped, it didn't matter and felt cozy. The menu is unique, diverse, high quality, but limited. The drinks were fabulous. The service was good, however, it was a busy night, and perhaps is better... More

Morris House Bistro is in an old house which gives it its cozy charm. The food is original and delicious and the prices fair for the quality. The service was friendly and efficient. The owner came over and chatted with us explaining that he brought his Southern sensibilities to the menu. It's rated as the best restaurant in Cheyenne and,... More

The wine list is pretty sparse, they were out of an entrée and an appetizer and a wine, and the red snapper was *majorly* fishy. However, everything else was very good, including the service. It's also fairly expensive, but doesn't quite measure up to the $$$.

Rich: Thanks so much for visiting the Bistro and for taking the time to post a review; we definitely appreciate the feedback. You didn't happen to mention the date of your visit, so I'm not sure what happened that weekend. I am truly sorry that we ran out of items - we make every effort to make sure that doesn't... More

After many attempts in Cheyenne at finding just the right place to eat on a special occasion, I think we finally found it. Morris House Bistro is a quaint little gem in the heart of Cheyenne serving food with a southern twist. They have a rotating seasonal menu with offerings to please just about everyone. The stand-outs for us were... More

We found a true gem in this restaurant! Other reviews had said reservations required and dressy attire suggested...not! The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. The fries are sublime with a dash of parmesan cheese. The bread pudding was oh so wonderful! I confess we were not brave enough to try the bleu cheese ice cream but next... More
