This is hands down the best food in Cheyenne. It's a small, intimate restaurant with phenomenal cuisine and an excellent wine list. The service is great. The only catch is they are only open Thurs, Fri, and Saturday night. I highly recommend a reservation.

We ate at the Morris House for our 5 year anniversary. Although I do not branch very well and have a hard time at new restaurants, this was very good food. We had crab cakes that were amazing, but it would have been better if there were four served rather than two. As there was not much chicken on the... More

Who knew that this kind of dining experience was available in Cheyenne? The ambiance and epicurean delights transport one, if only for an evening, to the old South. Bacon steaks as a precursor to shrimp & grits, all with outstanding, personal service. A trip to the Morris House Bistro is more than a meal, it's an evening out.

I love how they change their menu with the seasons. They're always busy (which to me is always a good sign for a restaurant), so make sure to get reaervations. Every time we've been there the food has been superb!

Came based on TA reviews; so glad we did! We drove down from SD and got to town earlier than we had planned; I called and they were able to seat us 30 min before our reservation. Overall this was one of the best meals we have ever had. Cons--we wished we could have more fry bread, but they only... More

This place is a real find, a charmer for sure. Great atmosphere in a historic former home of a Wyoming suffragette. The food was great the wine list was good as well. I imagine this place gets crowded on the weekend. If you like South Carolina low country food this is your only bet in Wyo for sure.

We always go here for my Birthday Dinner. We have always had a lovely mea! Many times my husband had called ahead and they have done a special Angel Food cake for my birthday. The last time the cake had been marinating in a fruit compote with bourbon and it was outstanding. There attention to detail makes a most enjoyable... More

I recently dined at the Morris House Bistro and loved absolutely everything about it! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and cozy. The service was outstanding, and the food was so unique and so delicious. It's a little taste of Charleston, SC in the middle of Cheyenne. They had just changed to their fall menu. I had the autumn salad that... More

The first time we visited, shortly after it opened, I had my best meal ever in Cheyenne. It was a divine stroganoff and they sold us Chimney Rock wine for no more than a $10 mark-up/bottle. We've been back a few times more, two dinners and a lunch. None of the other meals have been as memorable. On our anniversary... More
