Sometimes you can't find the top rated restaurants and then you find this one. A diner as colorful, loud and entertaining as ever you will find and that covers the decor, the staff and the patrons before you get to the food which doesn't quite match the rest. The food was the least interesting part of the evening being fairly... More

We all remember through a rosy haze, but Johnny J's has done a pretty good job of re-creating the old 1950s burger joint and bringing back a lot of memories with it. I especially liked the music and the memories it raised but, unlike other places, it isn't so loud as to disturb conversation. Burgers are the specialty, of course,... More

Really enjoyed my breakfast. Friendly staff and only a couple minutes wait as the restaurant was full. Great menu and excellent breakfast.

Great service and great food! Set to look like an old diner with plenty of things to look at. But best was the yummy burger and fries!!

Amazingly, they are owned by the same people who run the FireRock restaurant which is SO great. But this one misses the mark completely. The waitress took our order..Another Waitress brought out my juice...she would not put the juice down...but handed it to me with her little finger out. After I took it, she licked some kind of food off... More

Really nice place, decorated with original 50s fornitures. Informal place but poor menu (just a few burgers, a couple of sides, some salad). Staff was nice and average prices.

We drive through Casper regularly and we found this wonderful little diner on one of our trips. It is fairly easy to access from I-25 and worth the stop. The food is reasonably priced and good quality. However, the real reason to stop is the old fashioned malted milk shakes. Definitely not your place to stop if you are on... More

This was a cute diner and open late in the summer which helped us as we were having trouble finding some place open. The service was great and the decor felt true for an old diner but the food was only average for the price we paid. My husband and I had burgers that were just average for a gourmet... More

Johnny J's is a great place for sit down dinner that is nothing fancy, just good food in a fun atmosphere. Décor is '50 style and the burgers on the menu are named after '50 musical artists like Neil Sadaka and Fats Domino. The food is good, homemade style with some of the best chicken noodle soup I've eaten. Lunch... More
