Johnny J's is a great place for sit down dinner that is nothing fancy, just good food in a fun atmosphere. Décor is '50 style and the burgers on the menu are named after '50 musical artists like Neil Sadaka and Fats Domino. The food is good, homemade style with some of the best chicken noodle soup I've eaten. Lunch... More

Fun 50's-60's diner that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. They have great burgers, milkshakes and PIES! They have the best homemade pies! Fun atmosphere for all ages and a wide selection of burgers to choose from. They do get very busy, but it is worth the wait. Order a pie for the holidays! Your guests will love you!!!

This is a great place to eat to get home style meals. Plenty to eat and a great price. Always a good place, no matter what time of day.

I have visited Johnny J's Diner twice for lunch recently. Both times, my food did not come for 30-45 minutes after it was ordered! Also, the waitress did not refill drinks or bring the check once we were finished. We had to ask her to do both. Although lunch hour is busy here, the organization between the kitchen and the... Outside and in the atmosphere is that of the classic art-deco diner. It was clean when I went in at five. The wait staff was overly busy before six when several more came on duty. I had fish and chips that were properly cooked and good. The fries seemed stale. The green beans were the classic diner over cooked with... More

This 50's-60's diner is cheerful & friendly with food simply but deliciously prepared -- just as in the 50's & 60's. We ate here twice within a week, once for lunch & once for supper. Both times we were greeted by big smiles -- sincere greeters. Made us feel very welcome.

From the outside Johnny J's looks like a "cool" place to eat. But, the food is mediocre at best, the service needs some improvement, and it needs a good cleaning! There are better places to eat in Casper!

sorry anyone who has been duped by the "homemade" pies. they may be baked in house, but all fruit pies come from their supplier, frozen, and predone. cream pies r made in house on predone crusts.

We were passing through Casper around 2PM on a Friday, looking for a place to lunch and jumped on TripAdvisor. Two other restaurants "ranked" higher, but they were both breakfast/lunch places. Eggington's was only open from 11:30A-1PM, and Sheri's Place closed at 2PM (plus the woman on the phone wasn't very friendly), so we called and got the very friendly... More
