Went back after it was voted that we have Mexican for lunch with some people.. Called ahead and let them know there's 10 of us.. Everyone seemed to be satisfied, waiter was a bit slow on refills of beans and salsa, but...My nachos were GOOD!

Went here for lunch today to check it out based on reviews and I was sadly disappointed. Service wasn't great. We waited for refills and more chips for 10 minutes when our waiter walked by numerous times. This could have been overlooked if the food was good, but it was lacking. I ordered the taco dinner and my husband had... More

La Cocina is a great place to get a good Mexican meal. They have a wonderful variety of choices on their menu, including several that are "diet" friendly. I had a taco salad that was quite good - lots of tasty beef (hamburger, lettuce, tomatoes) served with salsa, guacamole, sour cream and chips. The restaurant always serves chips, salsa and... More

This is the first and last time I will be eating here. The table they sat us at was sticky with what appeared to be honey. We sat there for 15 minutes before we were even offered a drink. The guacamole tasted like the avocados had gone bad and it was an army green color...yuck. I was not overly impressed... More

The moment we stepped from the "wasteland dystopia" of Casper, WY, La Cocina felt like a world apart. There is actually a feeling of peace there, it's low-key, great South American/urban music, nice, clean, very helpful great servers, awesome refried beans and salsa with the thick, home-made tortilla chips. I can't wait to go back here!! Prices were awesome too--affordable--not... More

If this is caspers best I am sorry. Dirty tables, dirty silverware, slow service. Food, beans straight from a can, rice from a box, not a fresh tomato to be had, rusty lettuce and the toughest beef in the fajittas I have ever had. Wsh I had gone to Chipolte, cheaper, fresher and a better margharita. The margharita at la... More

We came here based on a website recommendation. Our GPS had the old address programmed so use the Tripadvisor one. Device was friendly and fast. Food was very fresh and tasty! The chips and salsa and beans to start were a real hit. Portions were large and inexpensive. All 4 of us left overly full but very satisfied! Wish we... More

We are loyal fans of La Cocina. We have been eating at this restaurant for years. We followed them from their original location to their new location. We live out of town and whenever visiting Casper, this is the only place my family is interested in eating. In fact, we usually take extra home with us! Lol. The food at... More
