They Like the Cheese

This was my first time coming here for lunch. The menu is pretty standard for lunch. We ordered four salads and a sandwich. The turkey sandwich looked great and they said it was good. The chicken salads were fairly normal with a ton of cheese. Nothing stood out but pretty typical chicken... read more

I've ate at several places in Casper. This is my favorite. I've eaten prime rib at many steakhouses. This is the best. My favorite reason to visit Casper is to eat at Poor Boys. Get the prime rib topped with onions and mushrooms and you'll thank me. The only downside to eating here is it becomes the standard you compare... More

You will never find a better place to relax and have a great meal and a cocktail after a hard days drive. Great ambience, great appetitizers, great food, and friendly people. If you are traveling in Wyoming put this place on your destination list.

Better steaks, IMHO, than Fire Rock on 2nd and less expensive. Much more laid back dining then Fire Rock but still great food and good wait staff. Full service bar and lots of good full meals for the hungry apatite! Chjicken fried chicekn is wonderful and so is the Russler's Pie and the meatloaf. I normally would shy away from... More

I'd visited Poor Boys about 6 years ago and had very fond memories of Rocky Mountain Oysters and tender steak in a rustic atmosphere. When the opportunity arose to eat there again, I couldn't wait! I may have over-hyped it, because I was a bit underwhelmed with this most recent experience. The atmosphere is indeed rustic and our service was... More

I go here almost weekly and absolutely love it. It is the best prime rib in town, in my opinion. I LOVE the flavor so much. Service is great...when I show up for our weekly get togethers, the waitress always remembers what we order. Very friendly.

We were traveling through and were recommended to this place. Good food, nice atmosphere, full bar. Nice salad w dinner and we had a really good Wyoming (New York) steak. A little price but not horrible for a steak place

In town on business, had a friend recommend the place since he used to live in Casper. It's not much to look at from the outside, and it doesn't get any better inside, maybe that's part of its charm I guess. We grabbed a table and ordered, we sat in the "pump room", the decor and furniture looked like about... More

Dined there twice. First time was lunch. Had special of the day - a bacon humus sandwich. Very good and generous portions. Went back again for dinner. Had Salmon with Stuffed Crab Meat. Just average. Would not order this again.

No...just don't do it. Every bad review you read is true times ten and every good review...well...what can I say...I don't know where those folks were eating. From the beyond horrible service to the cold haphazardly prepared food...It was a disaster with a capital D. The wood interior was nice though....now put a restaurant in there. We really really wanted... More
