Good food

We were part of a large group that dropped in without warning and they did a very good job. Our table of six had a nice mixture of what their menu had to offer from beef stroganoff to creole stuffed porkchops or filet. Our server Brady, did a very nice job, drinks were kept full and no long wait... read more

We discovered this place when we stopped for gas. I asked the gas station attendant how it was and she said excellent. I agree. I ordered a hamburger that was large, well cooked with excellent beef, and my wife had the French Dip Sandwich, which was also excellent. This is more of an evening place, so we had to eat... More

Within minutes of walking into the establishment (after a 13 hour drive), we were greeted by our waiter, "EJ". He made us feel like old friends. (And we are not THAT old!) :) So, "EJ" assisted our very weary family through the intricacies of their menu. Much appreciated as we were exhausted; five of us - mom/dad & three teens... More

I debated between the choices. I would have preferred to give this place a "good". They were accommodating, the food was tasty, and they had a lot of people to serve, although the meal was quite slow, after we informed them that we had a time limitation. The steak people said that it was great, and the salad people liked... More

The interior was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere was good. I was not particularly happy with the taste of my steak. It was very strong for some reason. I figured all the steak in this area must be tough and strong. I have since found that is not necessarily the case. I would likely go elsewhere rather than returning.

Very nice place to eat. The steaks and burgers are of fair quality for the price, and the atmosphere is intimate and pleasant. Recommended to us by the locals.

Don't be put off by the exterior which is a little plain but on entering it makes the interior all the more lavish. The use of polished but rustic wood and polished copper for fittings makes this a cosy place to eat. Our server was super helpful and most pleasant. The meals were excellent and v good value for money.... More

I really enjoy coming here because of the great food, at a good price. I like to order the Artichoke Dip, which is AMAZING! Very creamy, with lots of flavor. The Rustler Pie was also very good and filling. It was a very large portion and I had to bring home leftovers. I highly recommend this establishment.

Thanks to trip advisor reviews we decided to take a chance and we were SO glad we did!!! My husband had the 10 oz filet and I had the smothered chicken. Both were amazing! Vegetable side, loaded baked potato, bread and salad were all up to expectations. Great service from Chelsea and Christine ;).

We walked into the poor boys steakhouse with 12 people the staff was very friendly and accomidating. For a steakhouse they were incredibly family friendly. Each person needed separate receipts with the food and alcohol separate and the young man helping us was very patient and made it happen. I would defiantly eat here again.
