It was fine

Stopped here for breakfast on our road trip because our hotel didn't provide it. I had a skillet breakfast, my wife had an omelette We both had coffee and, with tip, it came to $30 Service was a bit below average and we waited a little longer for our food than we would have liked. Basic coffee house food. Service was okay, not great. Food was okay, not great. The restaurant seems worn, in much need of a remodel.

Stopped in for dinner. I ordered eggs, hash browns and a sausage patty. While I waited I was given some room temperate coffee. Finally I got some hot coffee and heard the server tell the people at the next table that no, they could not get brown gravy, only sausage gravy, they did not have french toast or pot pies.... More

Who only seems to hire the best of staff. Everywhere. Pros for this visit was that the food was fresh and served hot, the coffee didn't run out and the bill was average for the meal. The wait staff could use some training but what the heck, I ordered, they served me a meal, I paid and I left. What... More

Service at the Wyoming Boulevard village inn is awful. My husband and I went to eat there and after a 10 minute wait with a very few other customers in the restaurant we were seated. During our visit the wait staff could be heard talking about personal things and bickering with each other. The service was slow and the food was... More

Restaurant is older but clean and nice. Service started out good but went downhill from there. Took an hour to get our food. Other guests came after us, ordered, ate, and left before we got our order. I then got a wrong order. Portions were extremely small. Two bites and the hash browns were gone. Not impressed.

The raspberry tea was so sweet I couldn't drink it. The chicken breast was so freezer burnt I couldn't even bite into it.

I would skip breakfast at this Village Inn. It took about 10 minutes just to flag someone down. Then we had to get adult menus, then children's menus, then it took about 20 minutes to get our food. This occurred with about 15 customers in the entire restaurant. Skip it. Try Perkins down the street.

Where I live we do not have VIs. I was raised in Omaha, NE and would eat and VI there a lot so I was glad to see one in Casper. Had very nice breakfast with good service.

I'm generally a fan of Village Inn, and have had fairly consistent success at several locations - this unfortunately is not one of them. Let's start with the best part - the food we eventually (getting the idea?) got was acceptable. It probably would have rated better if it had still been medium hot when we got it. The service...
