Restaurant is older but clean and nice. Service started out good but went downhill from there. Took an hour to get our food. Other guests came after us, ordered, ate, and left before we got our order. I then got a wrong order. Portions were extremely small. Two bites and the hash browns were gone. Not impressed.

The raspberry tea was so sweet I couldn't drink it. The chicken breast was so freezer burnt I couldn't even bite into it.

I would skip breakfast at this Village Inn. It took about 10 minutes just to flag someone down. Then we had to get adult menus, then children's menus, then it took about 20 minutes to get our food. This occurred with about 15 customers in the entire restaurant. Skip it. Try Perkins down the street.

Where I live we do not have VIs. I was raised in Omaha, NE and would eat and VI there a lot so I was glad to see one in Casper. Had very nice breakfast with good service.

I'm generally a fan of Village Inn, and have had fairly consistent success at several locations - this unfortunately is not one of them. Let's start with the best part - the food we eventually (getting the idea?) got was acceptable. It probably would have rated better if it had still been medium hot when we got it. The service... Horrible. Every time we have been there we have had the same waitress. Food has come out cold, bacon that was requested to be extra crispy came out soggy and greasy. I asked for more tea, and I received a tea bag and no more water... It usually takes 2 hours to get our food and eat. :( We won't... More

The first time we went, the food was good and the service was all right, but we saw another guest seat himself (and get subtly berated for it) because no one was watching the door. The second time we went, we received drinks from the hostess and then waited for at least 20 minutes for a server to come and... More

Went to Village Inn on monday afternoon with my husband and kids. We were sat and waited 4-5 minutes for our server. We could hear her in the kitchen yelling at someone to "take those peoples drink orders" Another lady came out and took our drink orders. She did not bring the drinks out. We waited another 4-5 minutes for... More

There was only one waitress and she was very busy, well the manager on duty was changing out menus instead of helping guests. The manager only got up to seat people or cash them out. Poor waitress was running her legs off. I think the manager could have at least got drinks for customers or checked on guests. Food and... More
