This should be a great little place, but the service was terrible! Waited 50 minutes for egg & hash brown special and had to serve myself coffee after waiting for 20 minutes. The owner finally arrived, was very pleasant and served us. Unfortunately, his grumpy and completely inefficient staff were surly and slow. Several patrons walked out without being served,... More

The café is very cozy and has a uniquely antique look as is befitting its historic designation. Hamburger and Bison burger were excellent. My sons also enjoyed their chicken strips. Good place to stop between Custer and Little Bighorn Battlefield.

We were in town for a vintage travel trailer rally and heard and read good things about the Busy Bee. The folks I was with came in the day before and the older woman working was loudly railing at a new waitress in a severe form of training they guessed. But it had good reviews so we gave it a... Since this restaurant is attached to the beautiful & charming Occidental Hotel, I expected it to be better. Friendly service, but waitress didn't return to check on refills. Omelette dry & flavorless. Seated near the open stairs to basement....caught that mildewy basement smell while eating. Yuck. Waitress overcharged on ticket. Wouldn't return!

What a view! The creek is sparkling and we are wondering if anyone fushes for trout. Sitting here eating a delicious breakfast! If the bread isn't home made it sure fooled us, fantastic. Great service, waitress and owner friendly, kept the coffee cup full(and the decaf was great). Marble, stained glass... Reasonable prices.

Down-home cooking and "trendy" menu items too... Excellent service, fun 50's style "soda fountain" too. We'll be back!

We stayed in Buffalo over night and happened upon this quaint little place for breakfast. It's in the old Occidental hotel in the middle of town next to the river. The inside is just adorable -- and the people are friendly. The menu was great for breakfast. My husband had a made to order omelet with hash browns and my... More

We were staying at the Occidental Hotel next door, and went into the Busy Bee for breakfasts and lunches. The portions were large and filling, the atmosphere was great, the view over the Creek was lovely and we enjoyed our meals there. They also are quick to come and refill your coffee cup for free, which was great. I will... More

Delightful little cafe! Get a seat overlooking the river, and enjoy stepping back in time with basic, hearty menu selections. Try the perfect BLT,or a hearty open face buffalo creation with mashed potatoes, gravy, and onions on top. This one was being enjoyed by all of the men at an adjoining table, which prompted my companion to order one, too. Raves from all,but not for the dainty... More
