Winchester Steakhouse was right across the street from my hotel and it was recommended by the hotel staff. Really good steaks and little extras, like rolls and homemade salad dressings

We just ate at this restaurant a few weeks ago and it was just what we were looking for. We ordered the surf and turf with steak and lobster as well as the halibut and both were perfect. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was ideal....they put us right by the fire. We'll be back!

First, we are thankful that they sat our party as well as one right behind us even though we arrived at closing time. Service was good, and the staff did not act as if they were irritated by our arrival. As noted elsewhere the bread was good, and we appreciated the variety of beers available. The first disappointment was the... More

The Winchester is the best restaurant in Buffalo and we always try to eat here at least once on every visit. Food is excellent, with both menu items and specials all being good. The steaks are some of the best we've ever had.

We had dinner here to celebrate a successful hunting trip, after a recommendation from a friend. We all had trouble choosing from the menu because everything sounded so good, but in the end, we all agreed, I made the best choice by selecting the daily special of roasted top sirloin with a salad and mashed garlic potatoes. It really was... More

Who would have thought we would find a 1st class steakhouse in such a small town in Wyoming. Our steaks were superior to those we've had at Ruth Chris and other premier steak restaurants and far superior value. Sides were good and are included in the entree price. Service was excellent and despite our dining on a busy Saturday night,... More

I enjoyed our steaks which were kind of average but good..the side of baked potato was awful..tasted like it was from a couple of days ago and microwaved...but the lobster bisque and the scones were HEAVEN...I could eat that everyday..

They told us that this was a busy place... and that we may experience. We had to wait 50 min. and then was it a rush to get the food on the table... Overall the food is good, but could use some more seasoning. some of the food was not warm enough ... And when the account was presented there... More

We ate here while travelling out West from Illinois. every single thing I ate was delicious. Our server, Michael, was more than attentive. We had oysters Rockefeller, Rocky Mountain Oyeters and Filets with cauliflower. the portions were so generous, we couldn't finish, as we were stuffed. Michael nicely packaged them and we finished them for breakfast the next morning.
