Although it may not look like much from the outside, this restaurant really knows how to treat you. The staff are friendly and the food is top notch. They always start you off with homemade rolls and scones. The meals are very well made and tasty. Portions are also generous. They do have a regular schedule which includes specials. They... More

I thought twice before going to this restaurant after reading other reviews but am glad I used it. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The service is quick and friendly. Many customers leave with doggy bags. This is testament to the amount of food on the plate. On our second night we had fish and chips,... More

The food was way to salty, and you could tell that veggies and sauces came right out of a can. Service was also lousy. They cater more to the 'locals' than paying equal attention to tourists passing through. In Buffalo, this is supposedly "the best restaurant in town." If this is the best, I would hate to see the worst.

This restaurant was close to the hotel and recommended. It was crowded however several disappointments. First, I made a reservation. When we arrived we were told it would be a few minutes. After 30 minutes & I saw my name at the top of the list I questioned & it turns out they take 1st come 1 serve. Second, I... More

Great family restaurant with outstanding service. atnosphere renibds me of Christmas with a huge fireplace. Loved our meal of steak, baked potatoes and rocky mountain oysters. We were seated promptly at 6:20 ish but by 7 pm a long wait to get in. Would definitely return if in the area. For the value, I would chose this over other restaurants... More

My husband and I had this steak place recommended by our hotel. The food was good but our service was terrible. We sat at a table that had water already served with no ice. After sitting there several minutes a waitress finally come around. There was another girl close to our table and she never said a word to us... More

We had a three-course meal here with drinks. The only truly outstanding food was the complementary bread and the porterhouse steak. Everything else was average at best and subpar at worst. I had to send back the cocktail I ordered because it was so bad it was undrinkable (I have only done this once before in my life). The service... More

3 of us had dinner and it was good. The prime rib was a good cut of beef and cooked to order. My couple of complaints were that our meat was submerged in a very salty a jus and I will have it put on the side next time. 2nd is that the deep fried shrimp we had on the... More

The motel we stayed at across the street recommended this steakhouse. It really turned out to be one of the better places we ate at on our 10 day trip. The steak was perfect, fixed exactly like requested. Prompt service and a great wait staff. It is on the higher side of pricing but if you don't mind paying you... More

I moved to Wyoming for six months for an internship and to be with my fiance. I was a little disappointed when I was having a hard time finding a really good steak in Wyoming, of all places. People at work kept suggesting that I try the Winchester for dinner, and I am glad that they did! Pretty low key... More
