Great food and dining experience with special touches from the chef

Small seating areas, but very complete menu. Summertime there are a few tables open outside in cute patio area that has a heater for cooler night temps. If you like chunky salsa with a cayenne "hot wing" type spice, the chips and salsa are exceptional. The salsa is more of a bruchetta course... read more

Had dinner here at the recommendation of a local business. Great family story!! Anthony's father is a Musky fishing legend in Wisconsin. Anthony is creating a legend for himself in his humble restaurant. Enjoyed white wine and a Brandy manhattan, then a great meal. Anyone looking for north woods meets Italy, this is for you!! Thank you Anthony and Katy... More

Three in our group ordered a $30+ steak, and were each served a fatty, inferior cut of meet soaked in a bizarre sauce... I've had $10 steaks that were much better. Their pasta and specialty drinks, though also expensive, were very good, however. I realize Anthony's is in a tourist town, so I expected to pay a bit more, but... More

If you are looking for a supper club with a twist, stop by Anthony's. The interior front room was Classic North Woods- intimate log cabin with a beautiful mantle and bar area. Our waitress Kerri was personable and welcoming. She loved working there! We had mussels in a tomato based and garlic sauce- more than enough for two. We chose... More

DO NOT EAT HERE. Very rude, arrogant "owners" should not be in any type of service industry. His "9 years" in the restaurant business make him perfect and he has "NEVER" had a mistake leave his kitchen. I would have dealt with the tasteless food and the crazy high prices but not the attitude of these people. DO NOT EAT... More

Once again we visited and enjoyed Anthony's Ristorante over the 4th of July weekened(July 5). It was our 34th wedding anniversary and we wanted to ensure we had a great meal. Of course Anthony's was our 1st choice since Anthony's(The Rizzos) never disappoints! We brought friends along this visit as they've never been there before and they were 'over the... More

Anthony's is family owned and operated. The original part of the building is an old railroad depot and has all the charm - small with a nice bar and big fireplace. Reservations were easy to get, staff is very friendly and every meal we've had has been wonderful, especially the veal. It is fork tender and so tasty and prepared... More

This was the first time my husband and I ate at Anthony's which was recommended by a friend of ours. They do take reservations which is a good thing...as a lot of restaurants up in the north woods do not and that can be difficult if you have children in your party (the wait). We were welcomed as we came... More

Food was good for the price and kids also enjoyed it. Wasn't on par with larger cities but for a north woods supper club it was good. They even served palate cleansing berry sorbet between the appetizer and dinner which I thought was a nice touch. The mojitos were pretty bad - super sour and not much mint taste. The... More
