The food here was terrific and the service is awesome. You may have a short wait to be seated but it's worth it. I was told they are only open weekends after Labor Day weekend and closed for the winter after the Halloween holiday so plan accordingly. I had a cheese and mushroom omelet which came with pancakes. It was... More

It took for ever for us to get our pancakes. You would think a place that has a main specialty of pancakes could get you your food in under an hour. It cost almost $60 for two adults and a 4 year old and a 7 year old- and we only had pancakes. They were okay, but IHOP is just... More

Haven't been there for years but went back to see if it was still good. It was and more items on the menu than before. We will return soon.

I've read all the reviews and nearly didn't go because of all the "price related" comments. Let's address that first: We live in suburban Chicago and the prices are in line if not less than those there. The food was outstanding. Chocolate chip pancakes and Swedish pancakes both awesome. Bacon was ok, not the thick stuff but decent. OJ was... More

My wife and myself went for breakfast at Mr Pancake. Good first impression, very busy. To make it short, the pancakes were outstanding. My wife had plain buttermilk with maple syrup, I had the chocolate chip ones. Very fluffy, tasty and super rich! Nevertheless the omelet which we also had was average. I would go there any time again for... More

This is an older orginal place on the main street of the business area. It was huge inside so we only waited maybe 15 minutes at the busy time of the morning. The food came out hot and you got huge pancakes. No one in our family could finish them. A great breakfast place.

Not impressed! The Blueberry pancakes looked and tasted like the blueberry's that come out of a can. My son wouldn't even touch his breakfast. The sausage links left a bad taste in my mouth. And my best friend order the potato pancakes. This meal should take at least 30 min. to cook yet was served to our table in under... More

We tried Mr Pancake because we saw lots of cars in the parking lot numerous times. Tried breakfast. Just ok. The pancakes are huge and fluffy. But the balance of the menu was just ordinary. Precooked sausages and over cooked omelet. This is the type of place to take the kids and fill them up before hitting the water parks.... More

Long lines to get a table but well worth the wait. They do one thing only: breakfast. And boy so they so it right. The portions are predictably bountiful (they offer doggie bags). On average, they serve 900 customers each morning to give you an idea of the scale of this operation. The pancakes are simply divine.
