First of all, this is pushed as a "family restaurant" by the Wilderness Hotel in Wisconsin Dells. No mention of how ridiculously expensive the food is. God forbid your family is larger than 3 people or you'd have to take out a small loan to eat there. Didn't even try the steak because it was at least 40 bucks. Ordered... More

Very good place to eat. Super staff great food. Largest 12 oz prime rib we've ever had and the the best filet I've eaten. Although I was not impressed that they charge extra for blue cheese dressing no other place I've been to eat in any city did this.

My wife and I went to the Fields for dinner on her birthday. One the specials was a steak tenderloin entree that came wtih a choice of pototo and a salad. However, when we got the meal the plate also included more vegetables, pototatoes and rissoto (spelling)? which is basically rice (another starch). Way too much food to be an... More

Walking in we were greeted with the beautiful sounds of a singer/pianist with an angelic soprano voice. The cocktails were perfect, the appetizers/salads were very good (lobster bisque and the Field's Wilderness Salad). The entrees were expertly prepared and an eye-pleasing presentation. My wife had the seafood trio (grilled parmesan-crusted salmon, blackened ahi tuna, and Gulf Coast grouper served with... More

If you want something that looks more like fine dining then Field's is the place for you. The service and atmosphere are great, and the food is good too. However when it is time for the check, you may be surprised to find out how much you pay for all of this. I have been here a couple of times... More

I took some business associates here recently and we went early on a Thursday night so the restaurant was not crowded. Quite honestly I was not blown away by the food. Don't get me wrong it was good but for $40+ for a steak I thought the experience would be better. The dinner came with a salad which was good... More

There food was average it definitely wasn't amazing but it wasn't horrible. It's expensive too. I asked for my steak medium well and the inside of my steak was all pink.

My wife and I went to Field's for a nice dinner at the end of our stay at the Dells. We arrived early to take advantage of the special deal for early dining that we got as guests at the Wilderness resort complex. We arrived around 5 pm on a Friday evening, and were seated immediately (there were few other... More

Our dinner was good but the service help were so anxious to clear our plates/courses that I felt rushed and that I always had to protect my food from being taken rather than a nice, relaxed dinner. Will not eat here again. I had just told one person that I didn't want any more wine and another one comes by... More
