Great Burgers

The smell of the grill from the outside brought us inside. This is a must-have during our annual visit to the Dells. We have tried two other Monks but they can't compete with the onion seasoned grilled flavor from the original Monk's in downtown Wisconsin Dells.

We are Dells frequenters and there are just some places you tend to return to. THIS is one of those places. It's a long, narrow bar, reminiscent of an old timey Chicago bar. But it's bright, well maintained and there's tons of TVs for everyone. They have a big woodcut of all of the Big Ten school states with the... More

First time here and wont be the last.the burger is very good moist and juicy delicious. The chicken sandwich was very good and a fan favorite. Cheesecurds were alright I have had better but have had a lot worse. The kids love the kraft mac n cheese with the Frisbee plate that you can keep. The fries and chips were... More

Very quaint bar in town. The burgers are excellent!! We don't have good burgers like this by us in Lansing, MI. This is no luxury bar, it is very basic and old fashion or old style, which is what we prefer...it is more "hometown" appeal. Their beer battered fries were very good, too. Must try this place!

From the moment I walked into Monk's, I knew it was going to be a great experience. With tributes to their Wisconsin Badger Fandom all over the restaurant and a beautiful bar, the place just looks great. The service was incredibly fast and friendly. The food was fast and tasted DELICIOUS. I just found a new place to come every... More

Stopped in for lunch last week on a Tuesday afternoon, they have large cozy Boothe's, attentive staff, and the best fried pickle spears, Yum, the cheese curds and pulled pork sandwich were good too.
