One of those all you can eat restaurants and they make sure you have plenty to eat. Both good food and great service.

On our 3 day trip, we went there twice for breakfast it was yummy. They keep bringing out what you want we had no issues with anything. Our servers were quick. We ate there on Thursday for supper, pot roast and chicken. The food was pretty good, nothing compared to their breakfast.

My entire family loves Paul Bunyan's Cook Shanty and the connected shop. This place is a landmark in the Dells and I've been going since I was a kid. The food is good and it is all you can eat. They bring you whatever they're cooking that day and your choices are limited. We had great service from our waitress... More

Didn't eat here but I did pick up donuts a couple of the mornings and for the price, a far better option than Dunkin Donuts next store.

We ate at Paul Bunyan's at breakfast. I really liked the donuts. They were slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. You can purchase them in the gift shop. The rest of the meal was typical breakfast: eggs, pancakes, hash browns, and sausage. Make sure you ask for ham if it isn't served automatically, because it is... More

We got very slow service for lunch on Sunday despite the restaurant seemingly crawling with staff. They had many many workers and yet our server was overworked and we didn't get timely attention. Great atmosphere and decor. The chicken was good. But prices, especially for not family style, in other words individual meals were really high. Like $7.50 or more... More

My server was awesome! She treated our party of two like family. The food was cold and not that great. The so called owner of the place is the most rude, arrogant, snotty cow I've ever met in my life. Tip your servers well because if the "owner" can treat customers like this, more than likely the servers aren't always... More

We went for lunch and a breakfast! Great food, love the style of serving (family!) They are great at knowing the average serving size for the amount of people at your table, we only got another serving of 1 thing once. Service was great too, nice and friendly! Gift store was super fun to look through too!

I was a little skepticle of going to this restaurant because it was a set meal and you had to eat what they gave you. We sat down, got our drinks quickly, and our food even quicker. All of a sudden the food just started piling onto our table and refills were done quickly. The food was good, wish they... More
