Good burger

I got a burger it was good with a sprecher root beer. The waitress took a while to get to our table to take our order. Nice place. Maybe I'd try it again.

We went there for my wife's birthday. Never heard of this restaurant until I ran across the reviews in Trip Advisor. They were so good we decided to try it. My wife and I and our son home from college for the weekend. Arrived at 5pm on a Sat night and were seated right away. I ordered a bottle of... More

Who would have thought that in West Bend WI you would find a restaurant with amazing food and amazing people ( patrons and owner). Delious lightly battered cod, amazing German potato salad, fresh bread and a grasshopper pie. Might seem pedestrian food to some, but having dined around the world, this food was truly authentic in freshness and flavor. Not... More

I'm learning fast that Wisconsin is all about hearty food inspired by the German or eastern Euro heritage. This place in small town America is just that: Comfort food that is well done. Menu is unashamed to list a "heart attack" burger and belly busters for breakfast. I had a Reuben on pumpernickel. It was fine!

We just finished dining with another couple and the food was awesome. We started out with the German appetizer plate. The serving was more than enough for four people. The main entrees were equally great and more than we could eat. Service was excellent. We will definitely dine here again.

My husband and I go here for brunch on the weekends. They make amazing bloody marys loaded with tons of food! One of the best bloodies I had! There breakfast is amazing as well!

Don't be fooled by the modest exterior. This place serves good food in massive portions at a fair price. The fried brie is a great appetizer, enough for 4. The jager schnitzel was excellent. No room for dessert. Try the Ginger Baden mixed drink for a treat.

A bit of German emphasis on the menu but is large enough to encompass something for every taste. We were there for lunch and ate lightly but the sandwiches, soups and salads were delicious.

I've been here several times and never have had a bad meal. There fish fry is excellent make sure to ask for the warm German potato salad with it. Their fried mushrooms for an appetizer or are fantastic. Try some other specialty German food much better than Maders

It was a throwback to eating in my grandparents kitchen. Wiener Schnitzel to die for, spaetzel and the best Reuben sandwich in West Bend
