Since The Braising Pan specializes in German cuisine, we had the Rinderrrouladen (braised beef rolls stuffed with a bacon filling) with spaetzle and a side of red cabbage, as recommended by our waitress. The beef was tender and tasty. Our waitress suggested pouring the spaetzle in the delicious gravy that surrounded the beef rolls. Great suggestion. I also had a... More

Amazing fall off the bone ribs. Excellent service. Best food in West Bend. And the price was even cheap. I've paid twice as much at other restaurants and got less bang for your buck. It's well worth every penny. I can't believe how awesome there food was.

Dinner with family on a Saturday was very nice, no wait to be seated. But, a bit of a wait between courses and no butter for the dinner rolls on the table. German entrees were good, Sauerbraten was loaded with whole peppercorns which were hard to see and avoid in the dish. Red cabbage was a nice treat. Good value... More

Tried it out based on reviews. Nice experience. Busy place at 6:00 pm on a Friday night. They got us seated in minutes. My wife and I had all you can eat cod, with clam chowder. Too many potatoes in the soup. My wife didn't like it at all. Waitress offered to change it out for a salad, which my... More

Brats were cool, dry and tough. Soup was practically tasteless. Not a place we'd go back to. Amazed at the number of people waiting to be seated.

We have gone here for Breakfast, lunch and dinner and all three have been very good. Week-end breakfast and dinners get very busy so make reservations. The breakfast selections are very unique and offer something for everyone. The lunch's were very reasonable priced and the selection was varied. They have several special priced "light or Senior" lunches that are really... More

We went to the Braising Pan to meet our son's new girl friend. First time to this restaurant. Three of us ordered the soup of the day, shrimp bisque. It was excellent. I told our server I wanted to lick the bowl. There was a nice variety of specialty beers available. The decor in this former victorian house was just... More

They offer a few classic German dishes that sound great but I love getting the all you can smelt. The price is great and came with soup or salad, choice of potato and cabbage or Cole slaw. Staff is nice and refilled water multiple times when I got low.
