A friend of us found this local restaurant in West Bend. He loves the food there and we drove about an hour to find this restaurant. But the food is great and the drive was well worth. The German plat and the tuna sandwich are well done. I love the fry tomato. It was one of the best German American... More

My husband and I went here for a date. We actually choose it because it was a top rated restaurant on tripadvisor! My food was excellent! My husband got his meal and was not quite right so he said something to the server and thay actually re-did his meal and it was actually much better the second time around and... More

If you like old German style food this place is for you. Kinda small but always full. Reasonably priced and you'll never leave hungry!! The staff was very clean and personable.

Granddaughter was along with friends and was especially impressed with their soup. She's a bit of a picky eater.

This is a cozy diner, prices are reasonable, and the food and service are very good. I especially like the breakfast and lunch menus. The German roll-up pancakes for breakfast (like crepes) are just like the ones my mother made for us... delicious! The bacon is thick sliced, too. For lunch, they usually have a very good homemade soup. I... More

I think a diner has expectations when choosing a restaurant. The Braising Pan was what I expected and I enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was very casual, the prices reasonable, friendly service, a varied menu and the food was good. The place was very busy on Thursday night so obviously there are others looking for this in thier dining experience.... More

Title says it all. We have lots of choices here in West Bend and we are close enough to Milwaukee to sample what they have to offer. The Braising Pan is a small, modest place but between the German entrees they have and the American offerings you can't go wrong. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner and seem to have... More

As often as possible, we'll dine here*!! Their authentic German food here is outstanding, after enjoying the tender Rhinelander Beefroast, and the sweetSour cabbage is extraordinary! A wonderful experience not to be missed... *Mader quality...+140 mile round trip!

The Braising Pan is one of our favorite restaurants. We've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as odd times of the day. The food is always fresh and delicious. The german potato salad is excellent, and I don't even like german potato salad, but after trying some that my husband ordered, I now order it often. They... More

Probably my favorite thing about this restaurant is what it is not! It's not another boring chain with predictable entries. We had to try the German specialties and we loved all three on our most recent visit. Friendly, dependable service; great food, nice atmosphere. We will be going back for lunch and maybe someday if my husband ever wakes up... More
