A bit of German emphasis on the menu but is large enough to encompass something for every taste. We were there for lunch and ate lightly but the sandwiches, soups and salads were delicious.

I've been here several times and never have had a bad meal. There fish fry is excellent make sure to ask for the warm German potato salad with it. Their fried mushrooms for an appetizer or are fantastic. Try some other specialty German food much better than Maders

It was a throwback to eating in my grandparents kitchen. Wiener Schnitzel to die for, spaetzel and the best Reuben sandwich in West Bend

My wife and I stopped in on Saturday. She had the liver and I had the braised beef roll. Our sides were the potato salad, spatzle, and cabbage. Everything was superb. Water glass never got half empty. Several staff stopped by to check in. Prices were extrsordinary. Nearly everything on the menu was under $20. We will return and look... More

Friendly service of authentic german dishes in generous portions. The cafe motif doesn't prepare one for the "fancy restaurant" quAlity dinner one receives at affordable prices. Entertainment coupon makes it a nearly unbelievable deal.

Hectic weekend found us hungry in the early afternoon in West Bend. Stopped in for lunch. I had been wanting to come for dinner some time but it hadn't worked out yet. I had a sauerbraten sandwich and a side of German potato salad and a Wartstein Pilsner and it was the perfect taste of Germany. The sauerbraten was flavorful... More

We did not not have reservations, and they even though they were busy, they did not want to turn us away so they made accommodations for us. All the staff was great, each meal was exceptional, wide variety priced reasonable in a casual welcoming atmosphere. Great Brandy Old fashions!

I got the heart attack burger with a Bloody Mary. The food was like a five star. With a two star price. And the bloody was as well amazing. I can't say enough for the service and food. I keep coming back. Last time it was the ribs. A+++++ in my book. My girlfriend had a different burger and loved... More

We've visited this restaurant a number of times due to the great food and friendly, attentive staff. However, this morning we had to wait 40 mins AFTER placing our order for our food. Long waits have happened before during busier times but not like this. The kitchen staff is not equipped to handle more than a half full house. Beware.
