Outstanding service and excellent quality food. Fantastic martinis. Eddie's strives for a "fine dining experience". If that's what others call pretentious, so be it, but I am a frequent visitor and can state unequivocally that the staff puts effort into their service each and every day. Just ate at Eddie Martini's restaurant, and the meal was a disappointment. The food was oversalted, a problem which could have been avoided. 3 out of a party of 4 felt similarly about the oversalted food. The management was less than sympathetic. Overall it's a wonderful experience, they certainly know how to make martinis, but I did feel as though the service was a little over the top. Especially for a city steeped in a culture of beer and brats. more

While yes, the food at Eddie's is absolutely delicious, the whole place is pretty pretentious. The service is nice and very proper, but they all could loosen-up a little bit! An experience there can get pretty pricey (>$100 for 2 people), especially at dinner if you drink alcohol-- so stick to lunch if you're on a lighter budget. I suggest... more
