We love the feel of this place. The decor is trendy without the uppity feeling. You can go in jeans, casual or dressy clothes. The food is wonderful and the brewed beer is really good. Try the coconut stout. YUM!

Its okay but not great. Yes, it is crowded as being one of the breweries in a small town. But it can improve a lot. The food and drinks are pretty much standard.

No visit to wausau is complete without checking out the red eye. Good pizza, great beer, and great service. I live in IL, and go here every time i'm in town (4-5 times a year), Scarlet 7 is my favorite beer, unless they have something sour on tap. My only gripe is that they are popular, so one weekends there... More

We ate here on a Sunday and they have a limited menu. We enjoyed dining outside in the beautiful weather. We had the individual pizzas which were all Amazing and enjoyed some of the microbrews as well. We had a great server as well. It is nice to see that they grow some of their own herbs & vegetables on-site.

Stopped here after a trip to Green Bay for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. They only serve pizza on Sundays. The brick oven fire gives the place a great feel. The service was outstanding and the kids and my wife really enjoyed their pizza. My pizza was a little burnt but not too bad. The beer selection was fantastic. They... More

I have gone to Red Eye multiple times over the past couple years. On two occasions it was used as a prom dinner date location and once with a large party of German foreign exchange students. On every visit the service has always been fantastic and willing to accommodate and the food is too notch. Although their main selling point... More

It is a fun atmosphere with good food. Not a lot of seating so during peak times may have to wait and grab a drink at the bar. Worth the wait.

Unfortunately I had only enough time to try one beer and that was the Scarlet 7, Belgian Dubbel, which I was delighted to drink. I was in Wausau to mountain bike and to do some quick shopping and Red Eye was easy to find. During my short, twenty minute stay I observed the open kitchen and the activity. This was... More

Stopped in on Halloween...staff all in fun costumes! The place was busy but we were seated quickly and it was no problem when we asked to be relocated to a quieter place in the restaurant. We had service in less than 5 minutes, ordered a beverage and placed our order. Drinks arrived quickly - really enjoy their beer selection -... More

Really has gone down hill. Burgers were ten dollars with no sides included and my daughter was still hungry. Pizza has changed was not very good. Kids meals were 6 dollars for cheap chicken nuggets and chips. I guess I'll just go for beer next time. 50 dollars for a kids night out with mom is too much. I was... More
