Had the Thanksgiving Turkey dinner......... Read many great reviews, the ambiance, service was EXCELLENT. The breads, soups, Pretzel's, mashed potatoes, vegetables were all delicious. The turkey however was horrible, dry almost jerky dry - nasty. Our wonderful waitress brought us another selection of turkey was a tad better..... just disappointing given how great everything else was. We won't judge a... More

Everything from the bar to the dinner to the bar afterwards to watch the game in triple overtime was spectacular! A great experience, very friendly atmosphere.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and had every intention of going into the city... until I saw this place lit up. My review is going to be extremely biased because I love German food. First, the bier selection was very good. My favorite (Hofbrau Dunkel) was on draft (we sat at the bar). I ordered the goulash and... More

I've been to the gasthaus a couple times. I guess like my score says, the service was good, the food was average, the cost was about average. I guess from a scale of 1 to 10, ten being best I'd give it a 5.

Something amiss here, but not sure what it is. Great beer selections, good cocktails, food was just so so. Would rob ably look elsewhere next trip for better German food.

My host asked what I was hungry for in Wisconsin. Had to be brats and beer and the Gasthaus delivered. Super fresh weissbier on tap and a big plate of brats of various descriptions. At the table was also Vienerschnitzel and the Wednesday prime rib special. Only problem was no possible capacity left for strudel. We were in a quiet... More

They have traditional German food as well as others. This is a great restaurant for a quiet meal with the one you love or family and even a business dinner. Wonderful staff, clean facilities and warm atmosphere.

Was a first time visit, so only had bar specials during happy hour. The sauage plate with trimmings was very good. German potato salad & red cabbage was delicious! Little confused as to where we could sit to get the daily bar spec ials. Guess not outside so we sat in a darkened area of the bar. That was a... More
