We ate here with a group in July. Fantastic food! I'm not sure I've ever had better pizza! The salad was a little short on the fruits but was very tasty. We did have room for dessert but only because we shared. Had to fight over the last strawberry one, but the creme brûlée was excellent too. Our only complaint... More

A great place to stop for some wood fired pizza. Large salad served family style, and some fantastic deserts. Pizzas are approx a 12" size. So need. Two or three if four people. A bit in the pricey side. No reservations so you can have a wait. All in all food well worth the stop.

Not sure how such a tiny town like Washburn wound up with such an amazing restaurant. But these guys know good food! The "pizza puffs" for the apps are perfection, done the old world way. All ingredients appeared and tasted to be fresh as well. Definitely worth stopping by! We started with an app that included three types of cheeses... More

We were in the area for my daughter's graduation and went to DaLou's on her suggestion. The food was great and service and attention from staff was terrific. I certainly recommend it if you have the opportunity.

The owners had a custom wood fired pizza oven built for them, which is the main attraction. Besides upscale pizzas, they have other Italian entrees and an occasional seafood special that will know your socks off. Noisy but highly recommended.

I love this place. I live in Ashland and don't get here as often as I'd like. The Jamaican Jerk pizza is my all time favorite nontraditional pizza.

Could only every small town in Wisconsin have a little restaurant like DaLou's. The wood-fired pizzas are consistently good. Nightly specials add variety, but there are standby favorites like the jerk chicken. A salad for two features fresh leaf lettuce (no iceberg!) and dressing made in house- the daily feature salad when we visited had pears and hazelnuts for a... More

DaLou's is at the top of the list for locals who love good food! The salad specials are always fresh and delicious ...unique combos that we have learned to trust. Pair with the pizza of the day and a glass of wine or beer, you can be sure to be satisfied. It is small - cozy in the winter...make a... More

The food was amazing! Did not expect this in the small town of Washburn, Wisconsin. We ordered off the specials menu and got a puff pastry which you slice open and put Brie and the fruit topping into - awesome!!! The salad and pizza were also amazing! Loved the maple vinaigrette dressing also. Our server was not the best, not... More

The little stone fire is cute and so is the chalkboard. That's about it. The Brie we ordered was smothered in blueberry sugar sauce, and the cheese was teeny tiny. I've never had Brie baked without some sort of puff pastry wrapped around it, so I thought a "pizza puff" would encase the cheese. Nope, a hollow puff came on... More
