Craft pizza, local ingredients. In a sea of $5.00 pizzas loaded with fat, "cheese" from out of state, salt, grease, and chemicals that none of us can pronounce, we offer something better. Proudly using produce sourced from local family farms, organic wheat flour from Lonesome Stone Milling in Lone Rock, Wi, and 100 percent Wisconsin cheese from Grande, in Brownsville, Farmer John's, in Spring Green, as well as Hooks. Our meats come from Underground Meats in Madison, and Jordandal Farms in Antigo. All of our pizzas are created with fresh, seasonal ingredients and are like no other.

We have only done take out, but if the restaurant experience is anything like the takeout experience, you can't go wrong.

I ordered a pick up. The pizza and the side we ordered were not what we expected it was okay but not fantastic. Maybe the pizza would've been better if we had are inside the restaurant.

Have been here numerous times and ordered different pies - all are amazing - just don't be in a hurry; the service is fine but each pie is made to order and good things take time!

Sal's is small, yet it offers something unique. However, don't expect your $5.00, one size fits all, everyday, plain pizza either. This restaurant prides itself on new and sometimes, unusual combinations of flavors-always fresh, and mostly local, to create new pizza pie flavor sensations. Like the Chili and lime marinated scallops with Meyer lemons, heirloom garlic, purple daikon radish, arugula,... More

We've alwats enjoyed our pizza from Sal's. The sauce is perfectly seasoned & the crust wonderfully crisp. The atmosphere is okay, the only downside is that it can get quite noisy at times.

Mmmm...that's what I thought the first few times I dined in and ordered takeout, I've gone to Sal's for a few years now. I admire that Sal's uses heirloom local meats and has a tasty red sauce. But here's the deal; the service is inconsistent and more often is mediocre, the crust and the tastes of the pizzas are inconsistent... More

All the ingredients are top quality. The combinations of ingredients and flavors are creative, original, and in addition to the regular menu they have rotating specials that are to die for. You simply can't go wrong here!

This is not our normal style of pizza and we found it delicious and satisfying. Small seating area but comfortable if you can get a table. We don't know if they take reservations.

We stopped for lunch, and got a 2 slice deal. The pizzas are very good, and everyone in our group liked their slices. They also use only local ingredients, which is hard to find!

I was so happy to see Salvatore's featured on Wisconsin Foodie a few weeks ago, because I have eaten there many times, and simply love the food. I have only taken it for carry-out, but would love to eat in the restaurant….though it is very cozy, with just a dozen or so tables. The pizza is delicious, with emphasis on... More
