Craft pizza, local ingredients. In a sea of $5.00 pizzas loaded with fat, "cheese" from out of state, salt, grease, and chemicals that none of us can pronounce, we offer something better. Proudly using produce sourced from local family farms, organic wheat flour from Lonesome Stone Milling in Lone Rock, Wi, and 100 percent Wisconsin cheese from Grande, in Brownsville, Farmer John's, in Spring Green, as well as Hooks. Our meats come from Underground Meats in Madison, and Jordandal Farms in Antigo. All of our pizzas are created with fresh, seasonal ingredients and are like no other.

Wonderful two slice lunch special

We tried their two slice special for lunch. I tried the spicy special egg and the vegetarian pizza. The egg pizza was fantastic!!!!! It was one of the best slices of pizza that I have ever eaten. I understand the chefs choose the specials for each day and this particular pizza is not on their... read more

Don't go anyplace other than Salvatore's. This is by far the best pizza I've had anywhere in the world. They use locally sourced ingredients, and the chef is incredibly imaginative, but the sauce is the star here. Do yourself a favor and stop in some night. They also have a location near downtown Madison, WI. I love the pies with... More

For me, pizza has been a major disappointment since moving to WI. No more! Sal's pizza is the best I've had in WI (which I'm afraid isn't saying much). BUT, it rivals any that I have eaten in the Chicago area (literally, hundreds of them) and that is saying a lot, as far as I'm concerned! Hubby and I stopped... More

I have been enjoying this restaurant from the first week it opened and I'm so pleased to see their success. The owner used to make these pies on an outdoor fire pit for his friends and they convinced him to start his own business. You can taste and see the passion that goes into everything they make! The fig and... More

My husband and I have traveled to Italy and never thought we could have delicious authentic pizza here in WI, but we were wrong. Sals is the best. It's a must try!!! You will be hooked!!

We stopped in to Salvatore's on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered a build-your-own pizza and then two kids pizzas and the garlic bread appetizer. Everything was so good! The service was awesome as well. The waitresses catered to our two kids, bringing coloring pages, goldfish and reusable plastic cups and plates for the kids. They... More

Recently, while visiting a friend in Sun Prairie, I had the opportunity to experience Salvatore's Tomato Pies. We were having a casual night in - pizza and a movie - and had it delivered. What a treat! I was expecting an average pizza, but was delighted when I discovered the high quality pie nestled in a "greenbox" (which I had... More

Personally, I think I could happily live on Salvatore's roasted bread. The pies are always delicious -- our most recent adventure (the menu can change) was the Underground Meats Peperone and Portabella -- yum! We have only done take out, but if the restaurant experience is anything like the takeout experience, you can't go wrong.

I ordered a pick up. The pizza and the side we ordered were not what we expected it was okay but not fantastic. Maybe the pizza would've been better if we had are inside the restaurant.

Have been here numerous times and ordered different pies - all are amazing - just don't be in a hurry; the service is fine but each pie is made to order and good things take time!
