Beautiful place, great food

Went on a Thursday night and had a great experience! I was meeting others who were delayed and was welcomed, offer bar service and given water when I declined. It was a perfect evening on the padio and the food was exquisite. They had singers as well who were excellent but quiet enough that you... read more

But the hot comby and fish tacos disappointed in the past so I tried a burger. The burger seemed to taste more like charcoal than beef. Portions are pretty small for the price with just a few asparagus on the side. I have given it enough tries and likely won't return.

Just went to Buck & Honey's for the first time and I am IN LOVE. The staff was kind enough to explain the story behind the name of the restaurant and I literally was brought to tears. :) My husband and I both started with amazing drinks, Wisco Mule for me and Karben4 for him. Moving on to the appetizer... More

Buck and Honey's never disappoints, we come here often as a family and have ordered almost everything off of the menu. Personally, the fish tacos are my favorite - always a sure thing. If you want to mix it up you can switch out the Mahi Mahi and get the Firecracker Shrimp. My husband loves the Spanky's Meatloaf and the... More

We had a large party and were outside so I'd expect it to be slower service, but it seemed excessively slow- over 2 hours. Food was alright. Good, but not $18 for smallish shrimp good. My sister had chicken parm and one of them tasted very burnt. My sister in law had a ahi salad and was presented with a... More

Thanks for your recent visit! I appreciate your acknowledgment of the fact that your group showed up slowly in your review, as an experienced server I know you can appreciate that this can play a role in a server's timing at a table and potentially contribute to longer service. Obviously the fact that this was your second visit, and the... More

Our first visit was good. We ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad, Scallops and Berries Salad, Chicken and Waffles and the Pasta dish. Service was good, portions were good and the price was reasonable.

Lets just say the people were very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable, but when push comes to shove you go out to a restaurant for the food. The price we paid for the meals and quality just didn't match up. When you spend $100 on 2 meals you expect to be satisfied. Hair in the salad, dried out,... More

Thanks for your recent visit, Cahoontzer. Allow me to defend ourselves briefly on the value at Buck & Honey's. Our Dinner Menu can be found on our website, guests can see that half of our dinner entrees are priced at $17 and under. We have a number of nights that are great to visit for the price-oriented diner, including (but... More

Saturday night reservation. We arrived early and were directed to "get a drink at the bar and wait outside to be called". The problem was that there was no way to get to the bar with the crowd and servers moving past the bar area. The chair cushions outside were soaked from a prior rain. No outside drink service. The... Came here on a weeknight with a new baby into couples. Right away the hostess was a little cold, but she acted like I slapped her in the face when I asked for a table away from the center of the room so that I wouldn't trip other people with our car seat. I guess that was a big inconvenience... More

When we walked in, we were ignored by 2 different people at the hostess station. It took 10 minutes to get seated, another 10 minutes to even be greeted by the waitress. We should have taken the hint right from the start. Took another 5 minutes for drinks and nearly 30 minutes to receive our meals. Meals were unappetizing and... More
