Trendy busy place

I came in for an early dinner; which was fortunate, since it filled up fast. They have a nice menu with many offerings. The special included succotash. They had $1 off happy hour before 6:00. The servers are professional and courteous. My salad was very good with a balsamic dressing. The main... read more

Saturday night reservation. We arrived early and were directed to "get a drink at the bar and wait outside to be called". The problem was that there was no way to get to the bar with the crowd and servers moving past the bar area. The chair cushions outside were soaked from a prior rain. No outside drink service. The... Came here on a weeknight with a new baby into couples. Right away the hostess was a little cold, but she acted like I slapped her in the face when I asked for a table away from the center of the room so that I wouldn't trip other people with our car seat. I guess that was a big inconvenience... More

When we walked in, we were ignored by 2 different people at the hostess station. It took 10 minutes to get seated, another 10 minutes to even be greeted by the waitress. We should have taken the hint right from the start. Took another 5 minutes for drinks and nearly 30 minutes to receive our meals. Meals were unappetizing and... More

This is the second time I have eaten at this restaurant, enjoying the crab cake appetizer and the delicious scallop, berry, and goat cheese salad. Absolutely delicious.

When visiting family in Wisconsin recently we visited Buck and Honey's. Hostess staff was friendly and seated the four of us. The wait staff was courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. Our drinks were served and we were allowed time to peruse the menu. We ordered and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Choices of seafood, chicken and pasta were all delicious.

Second year in a row that I visited a friend in Sun Prairie and both times he has taken me to his favorite place and I see and taste why. They have a great selection of brews on tap and the meals are excellently prepared and presented. I had tasty tenderloin served over kale and love that Brussels sprouts are... More

Went for breakfast and ordered what they list as "The Usual"...it was far from it! The server was very sweet and did her best to fix the grossly undercooked eggs that came out with gelatin still on the egg whites. She brought new eggs that were slightly better but it was too late at that point. Nothing was done via... More

This was our second trip to Buck and Honeys. The first one seemed to be a bit better, but could have been the fact that I had been at a kids camp for the entire week before and this was the first real meal I had in days. They have a large and diverse menu. Wish they had a few... More
