Friendly Bar....

I found this place by accident as I was attending a large corporate gathering at a hotel down there street and I felt the need to escape. This was the perfect answer for what I was looking for...the typical "Wisconsin Tavern". The interior was warm and the staff friendly. They had a great bar with... read more

When the power was knocked out in the entire county from Egg Harbor north, my friends and I hopped into the car to Sturgeon Bay since all of us have electric stoves. Hoping for a good meal, we found ourselves seated immediately at the Nautical Inn. They told us it would be about 45 minutes for food, which we said... More

Went with Tripadvisor reviews, because we do like to find locally owned spots. The burgers were good, service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is outstanding! The decor is amazing. It's in an out of the way place, but worth looking for.

This wasn't on my list of places to go but we stopped in after shopping one afternoon. Really cute decor!! And the food was a great surprise!! I got the beef vegetable soup and it was obviously freshly made with big chunks of fresh veggies. So good I could have eaten a second bowl. My husband got the fried perch... More

So pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! Price was very reasonable and the food was excellent. We had fried Cheese Curds, Sea Food platter, Fish tacos and a Sausage and beef sandwich. We were all very happy with our choices! I had the fish tacos and they were Excellent. Would definitely eat there again if ever traveling through the area!

Best meal we had during our stay in Door County including those that cost twice as much. Service was great and the price was even better.

We were looking for a place to eat a late lunch and we were going to go to a place down the street but they were closed and thank god they were or we wouldn't have stopped at this little jem of a pub. I love Nautical things myself and this was a great place to stop. We had burgers... More

Found place by accident. Just driving around town and it looked interesting. We sat at the bar and ate. Excellent food-had The Galley (warm club on toast) and Port Burger (swiss bacon burger). We both got a ton of bacon on our sandwiches. They used real turkey and ham, not sandwich meat slices. Burger was very tasty-one of the best... More

On our winter vacation we were searching for a new place to eat, and are so glad we stopped here! The food was both plentiful and delicious, and our server was terrific. The Inn is the oldest inn in Door County, with original decor dating back to the 1800s. Our server in her spare time was happy to tell us... More

Over Thanksgiving weekend, my wife and I found ourselves in Sturgeon Bay around dinner time on a slow Saturday. Sturgeon Bay appears to not have many dining options unless your appetite consists of fast food. Figuring that most pubs have good food, we decided to proceed inside (after seeing their chalk board menu from the outside glass on the door).... More
