Proprietors Mark and Amy are super nice, friendly people doing a great job running a nearly 100 year old bar and grill all on their own. They have an incredible selection of beers for a relatively remote bar. The food is perfect for a bar and grill. We love this place!!!

Every time we are visiting we eat at the Hitching Post for lunch and always order pizza one night. They make excellent thin crust pizza...crispy crust, good sauce, sausage and other trimmings.

Their Friday night perch dinners are second to none. Nice, northern Wisconsin atmosphere in this all log walled restaurant. Nice owners.
