If you've ever wished you could find a restaurant with great food and service, look no further than this popular, well establish bar and grill. Birmingham's is a favorite in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin, tucked away along the shoreline just north of town. The bar is a meeting place for locals - friendly and inviting with old style charm. The dining... More

Hands down, the best burgers in door county! Limited kids menu and service is nothing to brag about. We have always been happy with food but have had undercooked frog legs.

Stopped in for late night burgers. Cooked to perfection, lived that it was served on soft bread instead if a bun. The homemade fries were of a generous portion, and golden brown. I can see why this is a local favorite- the bartender knows many if the patrons , and gives a friendly greeting when you come in the door.... More

Our last night in Door County and we were looking for a good place to enjoy a famous Wisconsin Fish Fry for take out. Birmingham's was recommended by a local. We ordered the perch and shrimp dinner. AWFUL!!!! (we were very disappointed) -- $34.00 down the drain. The french fries were actually burnt. Apparently they are nothing more than a... More

For those of you inclined to check out the whole Door County experience, I'd suggest the Birmingham's bar. Their burgers, on white bread (I know it sounds odd, but they make it work) and the curds are excellent. It's not exactly white tablecloth dining, but that's not what you're looking for up there so it delivers some good grub.

We been going to Birmingham's for the last 40 years. Friday night is the Perch Night. These are cooked by the owners wife, June Birmingham. Her husband, Bud, passed away several years ago, and now their son, Brad runs the bar. The fish is cooked to order in cast iron skillets. Saturday, hamburger on that days home made white bread,... Birmingham's dates back to the late 1920's when current owner Brad Birmingham's granddad built the place. It's old fashioned, in fact I doubt that it has changed much at all from the day its doors opened, which is a major reason for its charm. Brad is the perfect host/bartender who immediately makes everyone who walks in the door feel at... More

Had a fish fry which was very good. Fish was fresh caught in Lake michigan according to the (very friendly) waitress. Nice casual little place with a typical upnorth Wisconsin feel to it.
