Recommended by the staff at Bay Shore Inn and it turned out to be a very nice experience. We each had steak and they were tasty and tender. Staff was always checking in to be sure that our dinner was going well. For a small restaurant it was a pleasant stop.

There were four of us that dined here last weekend. We had reservations for 6:30 and walked in about 5 minutes early. We mentioned to the hostess that we had reservations and she said she would have our table ready in a few moments. So we sat at the bar to have a drink before dinner. Ten minutes later, had... More

If your looking for fine dining, the Cabin is not your place. But it is rustic and gives you that homey feeling. Service was excellent. 2 shrimp orders were very good. An order of a filet was very good also. Good just right. And the seafood platter could have used a little help. The only real downside was the waitress... More

Only had one dinner here, while staying just down the road at the Bayfront; worth a visit, but nothing out of the ordinary. Pleasant cabin-like set-up; entrees pretty good, though accompanied by some limp broccoli that had seen better days; very good (very rich!) carrot cake. Wine so-so for the price. Friendly service. In fact, the waitress liked a chat.... More

The Cabin was an excellent restaurant. We enjoyed the walleye. It was awesome. The home baked items are wonderful.

We had the ribs and tempura shrimp. Both dishes were very tasty. The setting was quaint and relaxing. Patrons enjoying a beverage at the bar were friendly and engaging. We will return.

It might not appear to be much driving by, but when you stop in and sit down... Friends--you'll be glad you did! Everything is fresh and homemade from salad dressings, to bread, to coleslaw etc. We had the Walleye and it was a strong choice. Service was speedy and friendly. Price was right. And the decor matched the Door County... More

Great service from a very efficient waitress who manged the entire dining room, however, she over charged us for one entree. Quickly took it off the bill when when we asked about the charge. The food, however, was lacking. Neither of us enjoyed our chicken entrees. Perhaps we ordered the wrong food. Diners, who looked like regulars, were enjoying their... More

We took the time to drive a little out of our way to enjoy a good perch sandwich. Both accompanying choice of coleslaw or fries were very good. The wait staff was extremely friendly. Ending with that day's special of homemade peach pie was delightful.

Go to the fish boil on Friday or Saturday night! We were celebrating our anniversary and had one of the best meals and overall experiences at a restaurant we have ever had. The owner and his wife host a fish boil every Friday and Saturday night and the fish boiler, Cody, boils some of the best fish we have ever... More
