Driving by, it may not look like much is going on, but walk in the door and you'll find our original knotty pine walls and bar (that date back to the 1930s), friendly faces, and a menu that the locals keep coming back for. We don't do things too fancy, or too crazy, but we put a lot of effort into making sure your meal is fresh and delicious and (with the exception of, say, quinoa) pronounceable! The local perch is always a hit, but try our excellent chicken, shrimp, steaks, and other favorites! Oh, and save room for our homemade dessert-- it's always scratchmade and usually heavenly!

Nice place!

My boyfriend and I thought we would try some place new and this place quickly became our new go to place. Wonderful service by the entire staff and the food was really good.

Marja and the wait staff were so friendly and made you feel at home. We ate there two nights and the food was good both nights. The pretzel dinner rolls are so good. My wife like the grilled shrimp and had them both nights. I had ribs one night and steak the second night both were well prepared.

Mmm wonderful, homemade food. The clam chowder and walleye were mouth-watering good! Checkered tablecloth tables, Louis Armstrong playing in the background. A northwoods atmosphere, clean and classy.

This is a wonderful, cozy spot. Best pan fried whitefish in Door County! Family owned, everything homemade with love. Delicious broasted chicken, pork chops, shrimp, steaks and daily specials. Save room for one of Marja's desserts! Baked fresh every day. Friendly folks, good cocktails, fair prices. Can't miss!

What a lovely little northwoods style cabin supper club. Food is all home made from the soups to the desserts and it tastes just great! Service is fun, friendly and casual. Come as you are and experience a fun loving approach to dining. They do all they can to accommodate your requests and needs. The clam chowder was absolutely terrific,... More

Admittedly we are Cabin regulars. Love the cozy, Up North atmosphere, made from scratch food and friendly service. But today, Marja (the owner) out-did herself and disappeared to make some freshly whipped cream for my son's hot chocolate. She didn't have to- but thank you! The owners and staff consistently go out of their way to greet you by name,... More

Recommended by the staff at Bay Shore Inn and it turned out to be a very nice experience. We each had steak and they were tasty and tender. Staff was always checking in to be sure that our dinner was going well. For a small restaurant it was a pleasant stop.

There were four of us that dined here last weekend. We had reservations for 6:30 and walked in about 5 minutes early. We mentioned to the hostess that we had reservations and she said she would have our table ready in a few moments. So we sat at the bar to have a drink before dinner. Ten minutes later, had... More

If your looking for fine dining, the Cabin is not your place. But it is rustic and gives you that homey feeling. Service was excellent. 2 shrimp orders were very good. An order of a filet was very good also. Good just right. And the seafood platter could have used a little help. The only real downside was the waitress... More

Only had one dinner here, while staying just down the road at the Bayfront; worth a visit, but nothing out of the ordinary. Pleasant cabin-like set-up; entrees pretty good, though accompanied by some limp broccoli that had seen better days; very good (very rich!) carrot cake. Wine so-so for the price. Friendly service. In fact, the waitress liked a chat.... More
