Pleasant restaurant with very tasty food

The Inn at Cedar Crossing is a lovely, comfortable restaurant in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Two of us shared the Door County cherry salad, which was outstanding (and definitely large enough for two to share or to eat as an entree) and lake perch fish fry, which was quite good and again, enough for... read more

My spouse and I had a very nice lunch today. I have eaten here perhaps 5-6 times but this is my first review. My spouse had the special: ham sandwich with smoked gouda, marinated tomatoes, and sauce. It was one of the best flavored sandwiches I've sampled in a long time. The waffle fries were fine. I ordered the soup... More

My wife and I recently stopped at the Inn at Cedar Crossing for dinner. I had the Grilled Chicken Risotto and my wife had the Seasonal Vegetable Risotto. The risotto was done to perfection with big chucks of chicken and tomato in the Chicken Risotto and several mushrooms types and chunky tomatoes in the Vegetable Risotto. Our server was friendly... Whenever we come to Door County, I have to stop here and order one of their cinnamon rolls. Not like any cinnamon roll you've ever had. Everything here is truly homemade. Breakfasts and lunches are high quality, not a chain-like type of place. Sandwiches are served with fresh cut up fruit. Omelets done right. I like the atmosphere. Not your... More

My wife and I eat here on a regular basis and find the food, service and atmosphere to be one of our best places to eat in Door County. The owners Steve and Kelly make it a point to get to know their customers and make everyone feel at home. My wife is particularly fond of their bake goods. We... More

My family and I went for Sunday brunch. There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but that was to be expected in Door County, Service was good, but there were little details that could have been improved on. When 3 people order water to drink and the glasses are as small as a fist, at least bring... More

We like this place for breakfast - and especially the Morning Buns that I've been told are made using the same recipe that a place in Madison (can't remember the name) made back in 1977. I loved them then, and love them now! The only downside is the back dining rooms. They need freshening up, literally and figuratively. Nostalgia isn't... More

We had dinner here during a recent stay in Sturgeon Bay. The menu had something for everyone in our group of six. We enjoyed great salads and some super black bean chili. We were warned that the chili was spicy but the salad made a great chaser. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The atmosphere is like... More

Situated on Third Street in Sturgeon Bay, this restaurant has a small bakery located at the front of the restaurant. We loved our breakfast. Coffee was great. Many choices for breakfast. I choose a bakery item to go with my breakfast.

Every time we pass through Sturgeon Bay we eat at the Inn at Cedar Crossing. We stopped in for lunch this trip. I always have the tuna melt and it is great. I love the hint of dill in it. My wife got the soup and sandwich special and said it was very good also. The atmosphere is quiet and... More
