Bakery goods to die for!

We always stop by the bakery, hoping that they are not sold out before we get there!!! We have had a variety of treats as well as the bread and have never been disappointed. For the first time, we had lunch in the cafe. Because they will serve breakfast all day, we had breakfast. It was very good... read more

A comfortable setting and the food is so above any 5 star restaurant. The Irish soda bread, far better than any bakery, Colleen Flynn's grandmothers recipe using the local bees work in the soda bread is the bomb. Ate there last Sunday morning, has swedish pancakes, so perfect with cream and ligon berries, more! Atmosphere is relaxing, song birds, the... More

Years ago my husband and I stumbled across this little cafe and bakery, with it's grotto like setting, along a side street in Stockholm. Now, we try to make it a yearly stop on a beautiful scenic drive. We made a spring drive this year, which was nice because there were no bugs. My husband enjoys breakfast, which they serve... More

1st time to stockholm last fall. place looked cute. food was skimpy and holy cow pricey. Baked goods were tasty, but sure looked like the frozen stuff that the restaurant i used to work in sold... baked fresh sure... but real? not sure... Just back in stockholm this spring... went elsewhere.

I NEVER go to bakeries, EVER,, but each year when we drive thru Stockholm Wisconsin THIS STOP IS A MUST. We have to call ahead and order our favorites because everything is gone by early afternoon. It is the best Swedish Pastry you will get anywhere. LOVE IT. You must try the cranberry Walnut bread and the many varieties of... More

We had a very tasty, pleasant lunch on the patio. The patio is off of the street which was fortunate because it was a big day for motorcycles on the road through town. We were visited by a few wasps near the end of our meal - not unexpected in the fall in this part of the country. We are... More

Day trip from Minneapolis to Stockholm, first time ever on the scenic Wisconsin River Road. Sleepy Stockholm is a nice little village with local artisans and restaurants. The folks at Bogus Creek are definitely passionate about food, and it comes across in the preparation and choice of locally sourced ingredients. Our brunch consisted of Bogus Hash and Breakfast Burritos. The... More

Despite the quality, food prices are off the charts and besides my $11.75 BLT, nothing other than 2 oz. of some salad mix graced my plate. Their adjacent bakery and coffee shop was an organizational disaster. Good product but the wait had people coming and leaving in disgust because of the back up. It took my spouse fifteen minutes to... More

We approached the historic village of Stockholm later in the afternoon, hoping for a cup of coffee. We noticed the lovely garden between this cafe and bakery and stopped in. Even though the owner was closing for the day, she offered us coffee and delicious pie with whipped cream. We were treated as personal guests and made to feel so... More

My daughter and I stopped off for breakfast at Bogus Creek Cafe & Bakery after an evening of visiting with family and friends. What a fantastic experience! You can't go wrong by making a stop at this restaurant.
