The pho and fried rice was a little bland. Egg rolls were delicious. As well as the sauces. Not much atmosphere. Small karaoke setup, if you fancy that sort of thing. I

We stopped here for lunch on the way through Wisconsin. My husband had the steak and flank pho, and it was outstanding. The broth, especially, was flavorful and rich. We ordered the papaya salad appetizer, and it was great, but I made the mistake of asking for the 8 pepper version. My husband couldn't handle the heat. Unlike so many... More

For those wondering what you would order and what you would get at a Viet Namese restaurant, don't worry. Order #27 which has lemon-grass pork, or the beef or chicken version. It comes in an 8" wide white bowl that is 3 or more inches deep. Sliced carrots, cucumber, bean sprouts, cabbage, hiccama, grilled meat, and a fantastic egg roll... More

I'm a huge fan of pho, and have tried it at many restaurants, mostly in large cities (Philadelphia, NYC, Vietnamese area of St. Paul, etc). The pho at Lor's is simply tremendous. Very flavorful, HUGE portions, and very, very affordable. I have not had any of their other entrees, as I'm a pho guy, but I can tell you that... More

I saw this restaurant in passing and made a quick u-turn. I'm from California and would never pass up a Vietnamese restaurant in the midwest. This man is a 2 tour vet and knows how to cook Pho.It was quite a treat. I love the market/restaurant atmosphere.

Was in Stevens point for a basketball tournament and went for a little ride between games.....drove by this place and asked my husband to turn around....just wanted to get a spring roll..... there were 3 tables full of people (2 Vietnamese) and went up to the counter they told me they would have my rolls ready in 3 minutes and... I had dinner on a Thursday night. The restaurant is very plain with spartan but clean décor. A flat-screen TV plays Vietnamese pop concerts (while we were there). A large doorway leads to the adjacent very-well supplied Asian market (same ownership). All the cooking, table-waiting, cashiering, etc. are handled by the very friendly young couple who own it. So the... More

I have brought visitors from Vietnam here just to see how authentic it is. They all said it is spot on, like being back home, especially the pha.

My wife and I have been here a couple of times, and loved it! Minimalist decor, but clean and bright. Spring rolls are to die for.....great peanut dipping sauce and nice crispy veggies. The hot and sour soup is nothing like Chinese, but is wonderful. The vermacelli dishes with either pork or shrimp, plus rice noodles, shredded carrots, cucumbers, cilantro,... More

I have been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and this one was pretty good. For an appetizer, I had the spring rolls wrapped in rice paper. Each contained 2 shrimp and a piece of pork. Other than that, just lettuce and rice noodles. Would have liked a little more flavor with some basil and/or mint. Then I had the... More
