Good food, Priced right, Friendly service

Very clean, new-looking decor, cute stuff. Staff very pleasant & attentive. Food decent, priced right. Chicken noodle soup a little salty and may have been re-heated too many time as noodles were mushy/falling apart, but still had good flavor. My husband loved his Assorted Po'Boy and my grilled ham... read more

Went for lunch. Our presence was not even acknowledged for 15 minutes so we left. The food was good last year but we won't ever go back.

Great old-fashioned tasting burgers on a soft bun. Soup is even better! Go on Wednesday night for "build-a burger". Fries are fresh. Also serve Poorboys, as the name would suggest. Outdoor decor and a stuffed bear that shares candy.

What a delightful "find" in northwest Wisconsin. We were heading for another restaurant in Spooner when a downpour started. So we dashed into this vey inviting establishment. And we were very happy we did. Pillars is family run. The atmosphere is very north woodsy. The subs are top notch delicious. I had a half sub with a cup of soup... More

Wonderful little poor boy and other sandwich place in Spooner WI. Neat all wood interior with deer and fish mounted on the walls and a real north woods feel. Had a great poor boy sandwich with wonderful ham and bean homemade soup. Quick, friendly service rounded out the experience.

We were disappointed because we think of Poor Boys as those wonderful New Orleans sandwiches not submarine or hero sandwiches. The sandwiches we had were good but not what we were expecting. We were also surprised by the cheese curds- we were expecting naked curds but these were battered and fried. Having never been in Wisconsin, we should have asked... More

Pillars serves great sandwiches at very reasonable prices. The one third sandwich with a side of soup or French fries is plenty enough for lunch and under $5.

Old-fashioned burgers on a soft bun with real fries. Also wraps and subs. Great soups. Not a large place, but comfortable. Small bar, as well.

These southern subs can be pretty delicious if prepared well, and Pillers will not disappoint. Fabulous homemade bread and all the right proportions of all the right ingredients made this one of the best ever for us. And that says nothing of the incredible homemade Chicken and Rice soup we started with. My wife isn't even a soup person and... More
