A great place for a good quality conversation.

We stopped in for some soup and were not disappointed. It was homemade and tasty. The waiter forgot to bring a beverage we ordered, but we let it go (not charged for it). It's an attractive, soda-shop-style setting with local flavor--looks like a pleasant spot for ice cream in the summer.

Ginny's is good but it lacks some things. I have been here several times to get different experiences and I just can't get on board. The menu is lacking options in my opinion and a couple of times I went the sandwich was awful. I do think they have a great atmosphere and the soda bar is very cool.

We love Ginny's and it's owner Deb. It's like a step back in time with the vintage décor. Fun.Fun.Fun. It has a simple menu of sandwiches, paninis, soup and salads. We have always had good food. Also has drinks, coffees and ice cream. After you eat stop across the street at Deb's shop Maiden Wisconsin for some fun shopping of... More

Fun place to stop while in Sparta. Coffee was quite good. Menu is fairly simple, soup, salads, sandwiches. We had one of their Paninis and a regular sandwich with cups of soup and coffee for under $20. Many choices in bread types. Pleasant service. Check their schedule since they're only open until 3 on Sunday.

While in the area for biking, we ate twice at Ginny's.. We really enjoyed the chicken chili, which you can order in various ounce sizes--I think it was 8, 12, 16, and 20 ounces. We liked it so much that we had it both times we were there. We also enjoyed a great caramel/pecan roll along with one of the... More

We heard good things about this place so we scoped it out. We liked the nostalgic decor that lined the walls. We came in and sat down at a table. The server brought water in a timely manner. He took our order, we ordered the special of the day and root beer floats. A different guy brought the meal and... More

Brought some visiting family here for lunch while on a walk in Sparta. A bit slow -- we got there during a rush, but servers managed pretty well. Our group had a reuben, chix salad sandwich (on veggie bread which is their best), roast beef sandwich and mac n cheese (Kraft), a shake and a banana split. Food came surprisingly... More

I was part of a group of four biking the Elroy-Sparta trail, that had lunch at Ginny's. it's a soda fountain with old-time shakes, malts, phosphates and soda pop, and with a selection of sandwiches, panini, soups and more, plus some great desserts. Recommended to us by proprietor of Amil's B&B in Wilton, Ginny's is a good place to break... More

It is not a "normal" cafe. It has a few sandwiches, and or the same sandwich as a panini. So no burgers, staple cafe fare. The atmosphere is nostalgic... Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal + soup. On the other hand my soup was cold, and Ruben was mehhh.
