Turns out this place was just as described on Tripadvisor. Home cooked food, ice cream and soda bar and a laid back atmosphere. If you're in a hurry, this place is not for you! Home made soup is good and the sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Don't look for a check to be brought to the table as everyone just... More

The ice cream shop is a very unique place to explore. My husband and I shared a malt that was huge!! It's a must if you are visiting Sparta!!

We stopped in on a late summer afternoon. And waited and waited and waited. We seated ourselves in the very cute diner type country setting and were willing to wait. But they never got to us, so we had to leave. No pipes were burst, no fires, no general excuse. Just too busy I guess. Disappointed.

We stopped at Ginny's for lunch. Loved it so much we had to make it a priority stop on our return trip!

This place has a downtown/hometown feel. Lots of interesting items to look at as decorations. Excellent food and service. Excellent milkshakes as well. They have everything there!

this is a must experience-the minute you open the door you will know what I mean. I loved the soup and 1/2 sandwich and loved looking at the wall stuff while eating.

Going to Ginny's Cupboard is like sitting down to eat at Grandma's kitchen table. The food is always good with responsive service. Ginny's is comfort food in comfortable surroundings.

A great place for home-made soups and breads that is so inviting with all the antiques. Stopping here will remind you or share a taste of yesteryear. This historical community has the first rail to trail bicycle trails in the USA. You even get to travel through the rail tunnels. Also a wonderful stop to see the Deke Slayton Space... More

Entering was like returning to the 1940s. Many Antiques and an old fashioned soda fountain counter. Pastries in case looked wonderful. We had a sandwich on veggie bread that was very nice. Had the Chicken Chili Soup and unlike a previous recent review I thought it quite good, but should have been served much hotter (temperature wise). Had a small... More

Nice place for lunch, the panninis and homemade soups were very good. My sister thought the white chicken chili tasted weird, like vinegar or something, so you might want to skip that. The decor is all real vintage dinette tables from the 1940's and '50's and old photographs and toys.
