Really good unfancy dining

This is a very good "retro" restaurant attached to a small bowling alley. Steak, chicken, fish, a pasta dish, and some salads. Nothing you can't pronounce. It's all done competently, without cutesy "presentation". The prime rib is really excellent, and if you go on Saturday evening, you can save... read more

We arrived around 5:00 thinking we would beat the rush but still had a 45 minute wait. However, the perch was delicious and worth the extra time. Service once we were seated was quick and efficient. An excellent meal all around.

Who would think a restaurant that is also a bowling alley could be so good? And a lovely view of the area to boot. The food was awesome and there was something for everyone. We had steak, broasted chicken, mac-n-cheese and the ribs. Everyone was happy and that’s does not happen often. The wait staff was great, not too pushy,... More

First off I want to say we had a family gathering of 15 big table many orders. You must ask for Noel she is absolutely the best waitress had to even tell her hostess. Not one meal was to the wrong person the food was fantastic your drinks were always topped off and she had other tables. This lady was... More

Have always enjoyed the broasted chicken - a Sister Bay Bowl tradition. The restaurant isn't much to look at but it is comfortable and reminds me of something out of the 1950's. A throwback worth the visit.

it can be a crowded wait, but the "broasted" chicken is worth it, especially if you've never had it. My wife had not and she was reluctant to eat "fried chicken is not on our diet" but she really loved it - guilty pleasure! Bring the kids and knock down a few pins at the old 6 lane bowling alley.... This was our second year for the Friday night fish fry. Get there early! The fish is awesome and there is a choice of perch, cod, and two more. You just can't beat the perch. Good potato salad, coleslaw and bread. Service is friendly. Someone next to us had ribs and they looked good. Plan ahead, the locals and tourists... More

We are never disappointed by the Sister Bay Bowl. Delicious prime rib and steaks! We went back a second time on this trip for fish fry. It's a great place to take even small children...as long as you arrive early. Otherwise there may be a wait!

This was our worst meal in Door County. We wanted to try a fish fry and had heard that Sister Bay Bowl had a good one. Forget it. I ordered the walleye which had a distinct fishy smell and the ends were hard. I suspect that the fish was past expiration. My wife had the shrimp platter which was just... More

Dear Bothrops7, As a small third generation family run business, it’s devastating to hear a customer of ours had anything less than a great experience at Sister Bay Bowl. I sincerely hope you spoke to an owner during your visit and allowed us the opportunity to make this right for you. Best, Rachel More
