The Sister Bay Bowl is a landmark and our dinner tonight did not disappoint. We had the perch fry - is now $15.75- so not a great value - but the food was good - the Old Fashioneds are great and the service was excellent. You walk into an old bowling alley/ bar area but the dining room is bright... More

I have been coming up to Sister Bay for over 35 years and we always go to " The Bowl " on Friday for the fish fry. Let me tell you how the fish melts in your mouth, the lightly breaded fish is curled because it is briefly steamed before frying. This has always been an old fashioned place with... More

Had a weekend get away and went to Door County and stopped in Sister Bay, while talking to the motel clerk asked her a good place to get a fish fry, she pointed the wife and I to the Sister Bay Bowl. A very low key place friendly staff and since off season we were seated quickly. I had the... More

We went to Sister Bay Bowl for a fish fry in the Fall, and had high hopes! There were so many cars parked near by and a long wait for a table. Sorry to say that we were so disappointed!! The fish was heavily breaded and very greasy. We much prefer a more flavorful, lightly breaded coating. Everything was just... More

Both had the Saturday night prime rib special. A nice size with salad and potato for $16.95. Well prepared medium rare. Good service in a busy dining room. Local favorite with decent bar and of course a bowling alley (not visible or audible from dining room). Other nightly specials.

This place has been around for a long time. Lots of fun, good food, and a bowling alley to boot! Can get very crowded, but their Friday night fish fry is great. Located right in the center of Sister Bay. Very friendly, good variety of food. Like the nice Wisconsin eateries from years ago in the Northwoods.

My husband and I ate here while in Door county for an "anniversary" trip. We had to wait a bit for a table but had a great time hanging at the bar chatting with fellow patrons. The food was great. Just like home cooking. Prices were reasonable, and portions were huge!

I have eaten at Sister Bay twice; I don’t think there will be a third. The staff is cool but pleasant, the food was lacking in taste, over cooked chicken and tough meat. I realize they are interested in maintaining an historical theme keeping with the area but the dining room still needs updating. If you enjoy bowling they do... More
